Katie Price has spoken out to address claims she’s split from her fiancé Carl Woods after it was reported that she was overheard telling pals she’d dumped him at the National Television Awards last week.
The mum-of-five has only been seen in public with Carl once since a 32-year-old man was arrested and later bailed on suspicion of assault, theft, and coercive and controlling behaviour after Katie was allegedly attacked at her Essex home last month.
According to reports, Katie told friends that she’d split from Carl after a series of rows during their recent trip to St. Lucia and had moved back to her “mucky mansion” in West Sussex even though it’s still being renovated. However, Katie has insisted this isn’t true.
Hitting back at the claims in a furious post on her Instagram Story, Katie told her followers, “It’s such a shame having such a good night these awful story’s about me coming out infact I never went out and said I’ve dumped Carl this is not true I was actually proud to be with my son Harvey I wish people would leave me a Carl alone [sic].”
Katie’s post comes after Carl insisted he “never would do anything to hurt her” last week as he broke his silence on the alleged assault for the first time.

He wrote, “I have remained quiet until now due to the investigation being carried out by the police however I have found it so difficult to keep quiet on social media due to speculation and shocking abuse that I have received.
“Anybody who thinks I hit Katie you're completely delusional and have no idea of the reality of the situation. I have never and never would do anything to hurt Katie. The truth will be told.”

Katie Price breaks silence after hospitalisation following 'fight at home'
Police confirmed last week that their investigation is still ongoing. A spokesperson said, “We are in regular contact with the victim and are continuing to support her. The man arrested remains on conditional bail until September 20.”
Following the alleged attack, it was reported that Katie is considering investing in around the clock security at her home.
A source told The Sun, “Katie is considering getting a security team in place and has spoken to guys she has used in the past. She is also thinking about getting a panic alarm so that she feels even safer.
“Katie's priority is feeling safe and she'll do anything - including 24/7 security forming a 'ring of steel' around her - to make sure that's the case.”
