Katie Pricehas reportedly beefed up security at her home following an alleged ‘assault’ in the early hours of Monday morning in Essex.
The mum-of-five revealed she was forced to “run away” after an “unprovoked attack” at home, which left her with multiple injuries. Her £50,000 engagement ring from fiancé Carl Woods was also taken during the incident. She is currently staying with friends after running to her son Harvey's house following the attack.
A source told The Sun, "Katie is considering getting a security team in place and has spoken to guys she has used in the past. She is also thinking about getting a panic alarm so that she feels even safer.
"Katie's priority is feeling safe and she'll do anything - including 24/7 security forming a 'ring of steel' around her - to make sure that's the case."
Katie’s fears come after she reportedly told pals that she doesn’t think she’s mentally strong enough to face another court case following the attack.
An insider said, “This is a nightmare situation for Katie.
“She absolutely stands by her account of events of that night given to police, but upon reflection isn’t sure she’s mentally strong enough to go through yet another court appearance.
“She doesn’t want to be dragged through the mill, and her private life scrutinised by all and sundry. Katie doesn’t see any other way out.”

Another insider also revealed to Mail Online that Katie is "exhausted but back to work like a true professional".
A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault, theft and coercive and controlling behaviour has been released on bail until 20 September.
Essex Police said, “We were called by colleagues in the ambulance service to reports of an assault in The Meadows, Little Canfield, shortly after 1.30am this morning, Monday 23 August.
“We arrived and found a woman had sustained a facial injury which required hospital treatment.
“A man was arrested a short time later on suspicion of assault. He remains in custody.”

Speaking out about the attack earlier this week, Katie told The Sun, “The fight was unprovoked — I was just sitting there watching telly when the assault happened.”
“I’ve got a big bruise, my face is all puffy, and I went to hospital. I’m still all dazed. I’m devastated. I’ve told police that I was assaulted, and am in shock that this happened,” she continued.
“I ran away after being punched — I ran to Harvey’s house nearby and have now done damage to my feet, which I previously injured.
“I can’t say any more.”
Katie has been living with her eighth fiancé, Carl Woods, and the couple have been open about trying for a baby, with Katie even saying she was hoping for four more kids. Carl was pictured for the first time since Katie was allegedly attacked walking his and Katie’s dog Buddy on Thursday and was wearing shorts from Harvey’s clothing collection.
