Friends reveal why the cash-strapped glamour model is rejecting lucrative deals to strip off in a bid to prove herself to Peter Andre and Kieran Hayler
Since finishing her latest stint in rehab in April, Jordan – real name Katie Price – has vowed to turn her life around and focus on her mental health and her family. The mum of five – who lost her £45m fortune and was declared bankrupt in December – entered The Priory in February after a turbulent two years, which led her to contemplate suicide, saying, “The only reason I didn’t [kill myself] is my children.”
Jordan – who celebrated her 42nd birthday last week and was pictured receiving a huge pink cake outside her new home – admitted the stress of her third divorce from Kieran Hayler, 33, subsequent split from Kris Boyson, 31, financial woes, kidnap threats, and her mum’s terminal lung disease diagnosis led to her self-medicating with drugs and booze.
Her wild partying – including rapping “I love coke”during a binge – and a drink-driving conviction made for a string of lurid headlines.
But friends now tell Closer that the former Page 3 pin-up – who made her fortune glamour modelling and has posed for the likes of Playboy – is now so intent on proving she’s responsible to her exes Peter Andre and Kieran that she is resisting lucrative offers to sign up to controversial X-rated sites.
One of these is OnlyFans, an online subscription platform where people – including her former friends Kerry Katona and Danielle Lloyd – sell raunchy snaps and videos.
A source says, “Katie has recently been approached by the site and others like it. She knows it’s the new ‘in’ thing in the industry, now that lads’ mags and Page 3 no longer exist, and says she thinks she would make a fortune from it because she is the original glamour girl icon.
"She could really do with the cash, so it is tempting – yet she is adamant she doesn’t want to damage the good rapport and trust she has built up with Pete and Kieran lately. It’s come as a shock to her friends, but the truth is she’s turned over a new leaf and has worked hard to clean up her act.”
During her wild partying last summer, her kids Junior, 14, and Princess, 12, moved in with their dad Pete, 47, while Jett, six, and Bunny, five, went to live with their dad Kieran. Jordan, who is now taking regular drug tests to prove she is clean, has the children stay with her and eldest son Harvey – who turns 18 next week and whose absent father is ex-footballer Dwight Yorke – at weekends.
She has a rocky relationship with both Pete and Kieran – she and Pete didn’t speak for almost ten years after their 2008 split, and she blamed him for her bankruptcy after years of legal battles between them.
She’s often berated Kieran after discovering he cheated on her with two of her pals, while his new fiancée Michelle Pentecosttook out a restraining order against her after a shouting match in the school playground.

One of Katie's lowest-profile relationships, she was engaged to Gladiators star Ace - real name Warren Furman – from 1997. The 47 year old was engaged to Jordan for two years, presenting her with a £3,500 diamond ring before they split in 1999.

Reports recently claimed Junior was “embarrassed” to visit his mum’s run-down £2m mansion, which she has now moved out of, while she recently admitted Princess told her to “put [her] tits away”, adding, “She would never want to do it – and her dad wouldn’t let her anyway.”
The source adds, “Junior is at the age where he would be mortified if she was on a site like that, especially as it links up to Instagram, which he and his friends are on.”
Last November, Closer revealed Jordan – who started modelling aged 18 – was “furious” her former friend Danielle Lloyd, 36, was “trying to steal her sex symbol crown” by setting up an OnlyFans site, and vowed to create her own sexy app.
It came after Danielle claimed Jordan had a “midlife crisis” and urged her to “concentrate on her kids”, after Jordan posed for topless holiday snaps with then-boyfriend Kris Boyson, 31, and shot a nude calendar.
And now Jordan’s one-time friend Kerry Katona, 39 – who revealed that Jordan only “gets in touch when it suits her” – is also on the site to make up for financial loses she’s had due to COVID-19.

But since Jordan’s rehab treatment – her second after being admitted in 2018 – the source says she’s had a change of heart about the sites, and adds, “Katie sees some of her old rivals raking it in, but she says she refuses to compete at the moment while she concentrates on getting her life and head back on track. She won’t do anything to jeopardise her improved relationship with her kids or their dads. That’s why this self-imposed sex ban is so important to her.”
In a recent Instagram Q&A, Jordan confirmed that, after years of spats with her exes, all is now well between them.
She added, “Believe it or not, Pete’s actually been quite supportive. To be honest, the dads have been good. Kieran is a fantastic dad – he’s been home-schooling the kids during this coronavirus. He was a s**t husband, but he’s really good with the kids.”
After leaving rehab in April, Katie and son Harvey moved into a rented flat five minutes from Pete, Princess and Junior, so they can see each other more often. Although she is living with personal trainer Al Warrell, with whom she was spotted kissing on the cheek last week, she insists it’s platonic and vows to stay single.
The source adds, “Katie knows things have been chaotic the last few years, so now she’s showing off the new and improved version of her. She’s done with the drama and is finally getting on well with Kieran and Pete. They can see how much of an effort she’s making – they appreciate it and are being supportive.
"She likes having this stability and so is adamant she won’t rock the boat by doing something they may disapprove of. Shunning OnlyFans is one way to prove herself. It’s not to say she wouldn’t do Playboy in the future but, for now, if winning back the trust of her exes and her kids means doing regular drug tests, staying single, booze and drug-free, and not getting her kit off for some raunchy site, then she says that’s what she’ll do.”
