We have to say it out of all the Love Island series, we reckon Love Island 2020 is one of the most underrated seasons.
From Shaughna Phillips’ iconic “congrats, hun” to Mike Boateng moving mad and trying to couple up with every single girl – we were entertained during those cold winter months.
It’s also one of the few series that still has a couple loved up – Nas Majeed and Eva Zapico.
Cast your mind back to 2020… Well before lockdown, when we had no idea what was ahead.
Nas entered the villa as an OG and was coupled up with Siannise Fudge however his head turned when Demi Jones arrived and they seemed perfect. Until Casa Amor.
Nas fell for Eva and even though they returned to the villa together, it wasn’t long before they were booted from the show.
Despite not getting to the final, Nas and Eva are the only couple still together from their series and one of the few couples that have managed to make it work out of all 10 seasons.
We recently attended Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland and we had to ask Nas what the secret was because we need to pass it along to the 2024 Islanders.
“The secret is communication and making each other laugh every day, that’s what I bring to the table.
“And she loves me. I don’t know why but she loves me for who I am,” he exclusively told Closer Online.
After leaving the villa together in February 2020, Nas and Eva managed to make it work during lockdown and in October 2022 (almost three years after meeting), they moved in together.
Posting a photo together Nas wrote on Instagram, “Life update: In a few weeks we’ll FINALLY be moving in together 🏠
“So excited for our next chapter ❤️.”
The only other Love Island couples still together are Cara de la Hoyde and Nathan Massey and Olivia and Alex Bowen from Love Island 2016, Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt from Love Island 2017, Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury from Love Island 2019 and Millie Court and Liam Reardon from Love Island 2021.
Plus Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti, Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope and Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page from Love Island 2022. There's also Jessie Wynter and Will Young, Tanya Manhenga and Shaq Muhammad and Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan from Love Island 2023 winter.
And as for Love Island 2023? Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki, Tyrique Hyde and Ella Thomas and Molly Marsh and Zach Noble are still together.
