Feel like you're always hanging around waiting? Well, this is how much those minutes are adding up to...
As nice as it is to sometimes have a minute to yourself while you're waiting for the kettle to boil, it can often feel as though you're constantly waiting for things to happen.

The research, carried out on behalf of Casumo.com, found that the average Brit will spend over TWO YEARS "killing time."
We know. Think of all the episodes of Corrie we could have been watching in that time!
Apparently, we typically waste 42 minutes every single day waiting for things like friends or public transport.
Standing in a queue at the supermarket and sitting in traffic also leave us doing nothing for almost five hours a week - the equivalent of almost 11 days every year.
WOWZA.

In a typical week we will waste 12 minutes waiting for a kettle to boil, and eight minutes standing by the microwave as our food cooks.
We will also spend nine minutes standing in line at the supermarket checkout and eight minutes watching the buffering symbol on a streaming service for shows to load up.
AHH. Where are our lives going!
