Two weeks ago, Carla Bellucci says she was attacked by a gang of men, women and young boys as she walked to the shops with her daughter, leaving her bruised and terrified.
It’s one of several incidents Carla claims she has had to deal with since going public in June about faking depression to get a £7,000 nose job on the NHS.
But brazen Carla, 37, feels no remorse and, incredibly, she insists she needs extra security – paid for by the taxpayer. Mum-of-three Carla, who lives in Hertfordshire and works as a model, says, “I need a bodyguard to protect me and taxpayers should pay. They are the ones giving me abuse, so they should pick up the tab. I don’t care what it costs.
“It’s more important that I feel safe, as I’ve become Britain’s most hated woman – though I don’t understand why.”
Carla sparked outrage after admitting she “flirted” with a GP and pretended to be struggling with her mental health to get a slight bump fixed. She had her free nose job in February this year and has bragged about it ever since.
She admits, “I’d been quoted £7,000 for a nose job. There was nothing really wrong with it, so it seemed too much to pay. I’m good at blagging stuff – I thought I’d chance it and see if I could get a free one. I lied to the doctor and told him I had depression because of it, and he wrote a letter referring me for the surgery. I couldn’t believe it actually worked.”
Carla is still delighted that she had the nose job – but she’s less pleased about the consequences of going public with her scam.

She says, “It has been hell for me and the kids. My son Jermaine is 16, and he wants to move out because of the attention I’ve brought on us.”
She has two other children, Tanisha, 14 – who Carla shockingly admitted she was saving to fund surgery for at 18 to help make her “more beautiful” – and Jayden, 12. Both are home-schooled.
Now Carla, who in August started crowdfunding for a £6,000 bum lift, says she’s scared for her own safety.
She added, “I receive daily threats and insults with people saying they hope I die. People know where I live, so they come and empty my bins all over my front garden. They have keyed my car and told me I’m ugly and that I’m milking the system.

“But the other week it got really serious. I was on the way to the shops with Tanisha when a group of men, women and young boys leapt out at us and started shrieking insults, shouting, “It’s her who got the free nose job.” They said I was an embarrassment because I was showing off about what I’d done. One of them grabbed hold of me, and in the struggle I was hit in the leg and my arm was jammed against the shop door, leaving me with bruises. Tanisha came to help me and was shoved out of the way. It was terrifying.
“We managed to escape and ran back to the car to call the police. But I decided not to press charges as I’m too scared of retaliation. I want to move out of the area.”
Now Carla is living in fear of her life – but still has no regrets. She says, “I’d do it all again. I could sit at home and keep my head down, but that’s not me. I think most people would take cosmetic surgery for free if they could get away with it.”
