Brave meningitis survivor Ellie Challis: ‘Living with no arms and legs is easy!’

Despite losing her limbs as a baby to meningitis, brave Ellie Challis refuses to let her disability hold her back.

Feisty Ellie Challis may have lost her limbs to meningitis but that doesn't stop the 10-year-old climbing trees, swimming and jumping on her trampoline.

The courageous youngster contracted the deadly disease at just 16 months old, but has developed an independent streak and says it's "easy"getting through life without her limbs.

Nine years on from her illness, Ellie's Mum Lisa, 41, couldn't be any prouder of her daughter's progress.

She says: "Ellie amazes us every day. She goes swimming and loves bouncing on our trampoline. She's never let her disability get in her way and insists on on doing everything herself.
