With her third divorce about to be finalised with her ex-husband Kieran Hayler, 32, Jordan stunned fans during a make-up masterclass in Liverpool last week by declaring she “needs to be a lesbian” as men “just f**k [her] about”.
At the event, she continued, “Maybe that is a good idea. Maybe I’m a lesbian…. I’ve been there, done that and got the T-shirt, but I’d do it again.”
And pals tell Closer that, after initially making the comments in jest, Jordan – real name Katie Price – is now considering a headline-grabbing romance with another female celebrity.
Sources say the star, 41 – who’s had a turbulent year, having been declared bankrupt, and was recently reportedly spotted outside The Priory – has focused her attention on Spice Girl Melanie Brown, who’s previously claimed she’s had romps with women.
A source says, “Katie’s happiest when she’s creating controversy. She mostly does it for the shock value, but it was like a light bulb went off when she joked about being a lesbian. She saw the surprise it caused in the crowd and realised it could help her make headlines."

After reports she’d blown her fortune leading to bankruptcy, Jordan – who was said to be drinking on the flight back from Spain and slurring her words, before dashing off for a boozy appearance at Essex bar Sheesh – was last week accused of charging fans £50 to take a selfie with her to boost her finances, which she denied.
Meanwhile, insiders say another reason why she has her sights set on Mel is because she dated Jordan’s ex Peter Andre for nine months in 1996, describing him as her “booty call”.
Pals say Jordan likes the idea of annoying Pete by getting close to his former flame.
The source adds, “Katie would love to get a reaction from Pete and wind him up. She thinks a romance with Mel would do the trick, and believes he will become irritated if the two of them start getting close. It’s never nice when two of your exes join forces and that’s what she wants to happen.”
