She announced her engagement to boyfriend of 10 months, Carl Woods, last week – and insiders tell Closer that Katie Price is determined to say “I do” as soon as restrictions are lifted in June.
Jordan, 42, confirmed the news on Instagram as she posted, “I said yes!”, and hinted she will – for the first time – take a husband’s surname after their wedding as she used the hashtag “Mrs Woods.”
Despite it being her eighth engagement and fourth wedding, the couple are determined it will be different to anything she has had before.
Speaking to Closer just weeks ago, Carl, 31, was already gearing up to propose, and confidently revealed, “I promise you, it [the wedding] will be different and quirky. It will be nothing like she has ever done before. I wanted to do something different because I am different.”
He added, “This is the final wedding for her now, and this one’s for keeps!”
Looking to their future, he said, “In five years’ time, I see us married with our own kids, in our own house with Porsches outside. We’ll have to buy a bigger house – we’d need an eight-bed!”
And sources tell us that “smitten” mum-of-five Jordan – real name Katie Price – is undeterred by her past failed marriages and has told close friends this wedding will be “the absolute best day” of her life.
A pal says, “She really believes that, after all of her heartbreak, it’s fourth time lucky. She’s determined to go full steam-ahead once regulations lift on 21 June and she’s wasting no time getting everything booked in. She knows Carl is perfect for her, so she’s really keen to get down that aisle as soon as possible.”
The source also reveals Jordan will be “more careful” in choosing her bridesmaids. Her former pal Jane Pountney, who served as maid of honour at her weddings to both Alex Reid and to Kieran Hayler, later embarked on a seven-month affair with Kieran. And Lauren Goodger, who was also a bridesmaid at her wedding to Kieran, is now pregnant with Jordan’s former fling, Charles Drury.
As previously reported by Closer, Jordan is also planning a £50k makeover ahead of her big day – and admitted earlier this month to having her lips plumped and a 13th boob job.
The insider explains, “When she marries Carl, she wants to go into it feeling, and, more importantly looking, like a young bride.”
Jordan already has three very different wedding dos under her belt. For her 2005 wedding with Peter Andre, she threw a £1m, Cinderella-themed bash at Highclere Castle – complete with a pink tulle gown and carriage. A year after divorcing Pete, in 2010, she eloped to Las Vegas for an extravagant wedding to Alex Reid, while she and Kieran tied the knot at an intimate beach ceremony in the Bahamas in 2013.
Now, Jordan’s pals say she will try to find a balance between all three – nothing too extravagant. And her terminally ill mum Amy, who was diagnosed with lung condition idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis in 2017 and tragically could be “in her last couple of years” of life, will be one of her biggest priorities.
And with Carl previously telling Closer how he has grown close to his fiancée’s five children – Harvey, 18, Junior, 15, Princess, 13, Jett, seven, and Bunny, six – and now refers to himself as “stepdad”, the wedding is likely to be a family affair, with their children joining the couple centre stage.
However, Jordan’s plans for a quick wedding were thrown in the air last week, when Kieran confirmed recent reports that the pair aren’t legally divorced.
It came after Jordan claimed she was “free from that marriage” after both parties signed the divorce papers.
But Kieran confirmed, “We are not divorced, we are still technically married” – adding that he hoped his ex’s marriage to Carl would be her last.
He added, “I have to hope for my children that Carl will be the last one. She’s always chasing that fairy tale.”
Jordan hit back, saying he was a “nobody” and using her “for attention”, before accusing him of cheated on his current fiancé, Michelle Penticost.

Jordan’s first engagement was to Gladiators star Ace, aka Warren Furman, in 1997, followed by businessman Scott Sullivan in 2004 and ex-husband Pete later that year. Following the breakdown of her marriage to Pete in 2009, she became engaged to cage fighter Alex the same year, before divorcing him in 2011 and meeting her next fiancé, model Leandro Penna.
She then met and married Kieran in 2012, and became engaged to boyfriend Kris Boyson in 2018 after their split.
But our source insists the former glamour model knows Carl is “The One”, and the loved-up pair will keep trying for a baby in the lead up to and after the wedding.
Jordan previously revealed on her YouTube channel that the couple haven’t been careful with protection since before Christmas, but Carl told Closer they are remaining relaxed. He said, “We’d like to have two children, quite close together. We’re just letting nature take its course and we’re having a lot of fun trying in the meantime!”
