After reaching the all-important three-month milestone, last week Jordan’s sister Sophie Price announced she was expecting her first child with her boyfriend Harry Brooks – posting a sweet baby scan pic on Instagram alongside the caption, “13 weeks and tired AF! Bring on May 2021”.
Insiders say that while Jordan, 42, is thrilled for her younger sister, 30, whom she describes as her “best friend”, the happy news is bittersweet, as she’d have liked for them to have been pregnant together – despite the fact she’s still recovering from breaking her feet in August in a horror fall on holiday in Turkey. The mum of five has been advised she could be in a wheelchair until April next year – despite tentatively taking her first few steps last month.
Jordan – real name Katie Price – has been dating ex Love Island star Carl, 31, for six months and the couple have already spoken about trying to conceive – even jetting to the Maldives last month on what they reportedly told pals was a “baby-making” getaway.
“We do want a baby and we’re not being careful,” Jordan told her YouTube fans last month, even taking a pregnancy test live on their channel, The Adventures Of Katie And Carl.
Insiders close to Jordan have previously revealed how the ex-model – who is mum to Harvey, 18, Junior, 15, Princess, 13, Jett, seven, and Bunny, six – has been on a diet high in folic acid (a nutrient proven to help conception) and monitoring her ovulation.
“If we’re going to make a baby, then we need the ovulation kit. I’m 31 – I’m getting older. You’re 42 – you’re even older,” Carl previously told Jordan in one episode.
And to add to her broody mood, last week Jordan showed off her new fur baby, a dog called Precious – just four months after the tragic death of her daughter Princess’ puppy, Rolo, after he suffocated in an electric armchair.

A source says, “Katie is always in denial about her age and she’s surprised it’s taking her this amount of time to fall pregnant. They’ve been trying since they met and she feels like she has to prove something.
“She’s previously joked that she can fall pregnant by just sitting on a loo seat, but she’s starting to worry. She wants to appear ‘perfect’ in Carl’s eyes and is obsessed with doing it naturally and sharing that experience with Carl. And he’s very much the ‘alpha male’, so he’d love for her to conceive naturally, too.”
Despite recently declaring that Carl is her “soul mate”, Jordan’s desire to have “as many kids as my body can take” goes years back.
In 2016, while married to ex-husband Kieran Hayler, Jordan declared that while her body “needed a rest” following difficult pregnancies and premature births with Bunny and Jett, she had already spoken with an adoption agency. But the star later revealed the process would “take too long”, controversially asking a Sunday Times interviewer whether they knew where she could “buy a baby” abroad.
And pals say Jordan will be more determined than ever to fall pregnant, after her ex-husband Peter Andre’s wife Emily MacDonagh, 31, revealed that she and Pete, 47, could be planning a third child in the New Year.
A source says, “She’s keen not to be compared to Pete and Emily, but there’s still a side of her that would like to show them she’s just as happy and settled as they are.”

Her recent baby plans come after a tough few years. In September 2018, Jordan was admitted to rehab following a series of drink and drug binges and diagnosed with PTSD – stemming from her mum Amy’s terminal lung condition diagnosisand the breakdown of her five-year marriage to Kieran after claims he had cheated multiple times.
But now, pals say she couldn’t be happier and feels that having a baby with Carl would really cement their relationship and keep them even closer.
The source adds, “It would be a real bonding experience for them. Ultimately, she wants his baby to kick-start her new life as Mrs Woods.”
