Despite defiant Katie Price insisting she's recovered after rehab, fears grow that she's returning to her old chaotic lifestyle
After leaving rehab following her treatment for post traumatic stress disorder, Katie Price made a bold return to social media last week with an inspirational quote, saying that you “shouldn't leave the key to your happiness in someone else's' pocket" - leading fans to believe she was finally embracing single life.
She later reflected on her recent fall from grace in a trailer for the new series of her reality show My Crazy Life, insisting, “Everything I did was disgusting - but now I'm back”.
However, photos taken just days earlier appeared to show Katie back to her old ways when she was pictured on a boozy night out with on-off boyfriend Kris Boyson. Onlookers claimed she was “downing vodka and prosecco”, “nibbling on Kris’ ear” and growing “increasingly unsteady” on her feet.
The former glamour model, 40, enrolled in a 28-day rehab programme at The Priory in September for post-traumatic stress disorder - reportedly caused by the breakdown of her third marriage to cheating husband Kieran Hayler and her mum Amy's terminal lung diagnosis.
But despite being reportedly advised by therapists to stay single, Katie – who has been married three times - has never stayed far away from male attention.

One of Katie's lowest-profile relationships, she was engaged to Gladiators star Ace - real name Warren Furman – from 1997. The 47 year old was engaged to Jordan for two years, presenting her with a £3,500 diamond ring before they split in 1999.

He is also a born again Christian, and exclusively told Closer, "I feel God is saying to me, 'Warren, Katie might listen'. She's caught up in materialistic things."

Katie began dating Another Level (remember them?) singer Dane Bowers during her Jordan days in 1998. Katie has since spoken about how devasated she was after the pair split in 2000. And last week, it was claimed she had moved in to Kris' home and was eager to finalise her divorce from Kieran so the pair could marry.
A source says, "Katie’s friends are worried for her, even though she claims she's back on track. They were relieved when she went to the Priory, but they're concerned she still might not be taking her recovery as seriously as she needs to be. Instead of focusing on getting herself sorted, she seems to be focused on dating and her love life. They've pleaded with her to forget about men for the moment, embrace the single life and take this chance at recovery seriously before she ends up unravelling again."

And psychologist Emma Kenny says that despite Jordan insisting that she’s "back" and recovered, her addiction to male attention and inability to be on her own could be detrimental to her recovery.
She says, “Katie is what I’d call a ‘traveller’ – someone who moves from relationship to relationship for security and validation. The reason therapists sometimes advise clients stay single is to allow the individual to build up their own internal resources required for resilience. People who jump from relationship to relationship can lack the inner strength to deal with problems or issues on their own. So should something negative happen in their life – in Katie’s case, her mum’s terminal illness or her marriage breakdown - they'll struggle to cope and will feel they need a partner to help them get through it.
“It’s a form of love addiction and it prevents you from addressing your inner issues or problems. She needs the ability to function alone in order to recover. If she doesn’t confront her issues and learn to be resilient on her own, her love addiction will eventually destroy her and everything she’s worked for.”
