Short-lived TOWIE star makes – frankly – baffling and sweaty return to show

He was part of one of TOWIE's infamous culls

After what seems like an eternity, our TOWIE faves are finally back filming in the Dominican Republic for series 30 (yes, really) - which will be hitting screens over the summer after nearly a seven-month-long break.

As well as a new exotic location, TOWIE have welcomed some new and old faces on the trip, including Jordan Brook, who starred in the show way back in 2017.

He joins new faces Elma Pazar and Lovestruck High star Junaid Ahmed. Besties Courtney Green and Chloe Meadows are also returning after being brutally axed in 2021.

A source close to the show told The Sun, “TOWIE are excited to bring Junaid into the fold, especially as he has close friendships with Dani, Yaz and Ella. Junaid will be sure to bring main character vibes to the show, along with lots of fun and drama.”

So far, we've spotted Amber TurnerDan EdgarDiagsDani ImbertYazmin Oukhellou share snaps from the Caribbean on their Instagram stories.

However, some faces were notably absent, with Chloe SimsFrankie Sims and Demi Sims all back at home in Blighty. It's not known if some of the cast will stay in Essex or if they'll fly out at a later date.

Chloe Brockett, whose future on the show was in doubt after she was reportedly involved in a nightclub 'brawl' with Ella Rae Wise in April, is also still back in the UK.

Announcing the news that there will be some new and returning faces on Instagram, TOWIE bosses said, "Holiday snaps from some of our #TOWIE cast! 📸 Spot any new faces? 👀"

Many fans were chuffed to see Jordan back in the fold, with one writing, "Yaaay! Great to see Jordan 👍🏽."

Another added, "There he is 😍."

Jordan has also been spotted on James Lock's Instagram story looking incredibly, er, sweaty, after they both enjoyed a workout.

You may remember that Jordan joined TOWIE back in 2017 alongside his best pal Jack Rigden as Megan McKenna's pals following her split from Pete Wicks.

They only lasted a year though, as they were axed in 2019 alongside Amber Dowding, Chris Clark and Mike Hassini.

A TOWIE source said at the time, "Towie is like a revolving door and producers are always on the lookout for new faces that can keep the show fresh.

“Producers thought Jack and Jordan were really funny and had great potential but they were lost against the bigger characters and unfortunately didn’t make the final cut."

Despite being axed, Jordan started his own business working as a barber and he also owns luxury hair care brand Jack Brook, with business partner Jack Luff.
