It's safe to say we are READY for the new season of TOWIE to hit our screens on Sunday 24 March. After what has felt like a long winter and two or three lockdowns, we'll soon find out exactly what happened to shake the cast to their absolute core in Bali earlier this year.
Okay, so we know that it has something to do with Dan Edgar and Ella Rae Wise allegedly getting together, Amber Turner finding out, Harry Derbidge then taking her side, Dani Imbert then getting pissed off with Harry for joining 'Girl Band' and Chloe Brockett having absolutely nothing to do with any of it because she's quit. But we need to see this play out with our own eyes.
To be honest, we've been so sweet up in all the fall-outs and drama to come out of series 33 filming that we completely forgot to contemplate the one thing we really should be contemplating ahead of any new series launch: are any new cast members joining the show this season?
While ITV haven't really said much on the topic, they did recently release official cast pictures and we can confirm, they were all familiar faces.
One of those faces was Mr Sophie Kasaei aka Jordan Brook, who seemingly teased the arrival of not one, but two new TOWIE cast members while sharing a behind-the-scenes filming moment with his followers.
While filming a TOWIE scene with girlfriend Sophie – an official guest of the show – he told his followers, "There's a couple of new cast members.."
We legit almost dropped our phones at those six words...
Jordan then continued, "The parents are out," panning his phone to reveal his mum Sam and Sophie's dad Kevin (who has the WHITEST teeth we've ever seen, btw, so we're sure he'll fit in with the TOWIE lot's dazzling gnashers.
The foursome had got together for a spot of filming and while we're rolling at our eyes at believing 'Girl Band' was potentially getting two new members or Junaid Ahmed was getting actual minions, this gives us feels.
Okay, we'll admit it, we got you with a little clickbait there, but there is an actual new cast member joining the show this series and if you’re a big reality TV fan then you’ve probably seen him before.
It looks like Ella has called in some reinforcements following her fall out with Harry as her bestie Freddie Bentley, who rose to fame when he appeared on Channel 4’s social experiment slash reality show The Circle in 2018, has joined TOWIE for series 33.
He made the big announcement on Instagram today as he shared a photo of himself posing with Ella and wrote, “The only way is… FREDDIE BABY!! “I’m buzzing to have joined the cast of @towie series 33 alongside my best friend @ellaraewisex doing what we do best together ❤️ coming soon to ITVBE😜🎥❤️🔥✌🏼.”
