TOWIE stars Ella Rae Wise and Dan Edgar have not been shy when it comes to the PDA in their blossoming relationship.
We're only a few episodes in to the latest series and we've already witnessed them night time pool snogging, lathering each other up with sun cream, and waking up together (let's all remember a camera crew was literally filming outside Dan's Bali hotel door one morning).
On screen, it's looking hot hot HOT (we can't even imagine Amber Turner watching these episodes back), but remember these early series 33 events were filmed way back in February, and we're now in April, so if you want the freshest TOWIE #dramz then it's worth keeping an eye on the cast's socials (and Closer online, obv). And by the looks of a couple of recent cast posts, the honeymoon may already be over for Ella and Dan.
Seriously, bring back TOWIE Live, because we can't keep up with this editing delay; that was definitely a joke – don't do that, ITV. Just don't.
We'll start with a serious red flag; a passive aggressive meme share from Ella about "pure intentions" and "karma". If there's one thing we know about Essex stars like Ella, it's that the passive aggressive meme shares come out in force just before some major sh*t is announced or goes down.
This most recent one reads, "It doesn't matter how dirty others play you. Karma has a big appetite these days.
"Move with pure intentions."
If this is directed at one of her TOWIE co-stars (which they frequently are), then, to be fair, there's a chance it could be aimed at Harry Derbidge, who Ella is currently feuding with over his loyalty to 'girl band'. But if you ask us, this wreaks of relationship #dramz and we best all take cover from the brewing storm.
The other Instagram post that raised an eyebrow was a joint post between TOWIE and Junaid Ahmed. Junaid shared a snap of all the cast members who attended his Eid party at Lauren Goodger's house, and interestingly, Ella was pictured there without Dan (and in the same room as Harry, so there's that).
In showbiz journalism, two points don't make a pattern, but three points do, so we'll await at least one other passive aggressive meme share – or perhaps a selfie with Ella and Amber – and not pass judgement fully until then.
News of Ella and Dan's romance first hit social media back in February when The Sun reported that none other than Ella and Dan had been enjoying a "holiday fling" while out in Bali – and the pics of them cosied up to one another and holding hands spoke for themselves.
In a recent interview with Closer, Ella described her new relationship with Dan as "innnocent".
"It is innocent, isn’t it? Who is to say?" Ella teased, "it might be serious, it might not be serious."
"He has been split up with Amber for nearly a year," Ella went on, "He is okay to move on now. I have had a chat with Amber, she is completely fine with it. I would never be that girl to rub it in her face, that is just not the way I am. I will have respect for her as it would hurt my feelings."
Well, here's hoping Amber doesn't watch TOWIE back then. To be fair, can you even watch TOWIE in Dubai?
