We thought that the TOWIE love triangle between James ‘Diags’ Bennewith, his girlfriend Jodie Wells and former flame Elma Pazar was put to bed last series when Diags and Jodie went official and she cleared the air with Elma, but it seems that things have reignited once again ahead of the series 34 premiere.
At the end of series 33, Diags made a huge gesture by inviting Jodie and her young son to move to Essex and live with him, however a recently released teaser trailer for the new series shows the pair hitting the rocks after Elma exposes secret messages he sent her.
Oh, the drama of it all.
In the trailer, Elma can be seen telling Harry Derbidge – who is going through a split from Joe Blackman – about the messages. She says, “Diags messaged me saying ‘I miss you’,” as Harry’s jaw drops the floor.
“That’s a dumpable offence,” the former Love Island star adds.
In the next scene, Jodie fumes at Diags and tells him, “The joke’s on my expense all the time.
“You went out of your way to pick up your phone sat next to me and typed out a message to her saying ‘I miss you’.”
We’ll have to wait until the series premieres on Sunday 25 August to find out what happens next, but it’s guaranteed to be explosive.
That’s not the only love drama either as Harry and Joe’s split is teased as Junaid Ahmed says, “There’s trouble in paradise with them.”
Harry then tells Jordan Brook, Courtney Green and Chloe Meadows, “He says he wants to be mates,” before Joe breaks down in tears and says, “I just didn’t think it would get to this.”
Elsewhere, Ella Rae Wise takes Dan to task over those cheating rumours and tells him, “I’m not Amber.”
Ouch, we wonder how Amber Turner will respond to that.
Dan then admits, “It was wrong.”
The pair were seen sharing yet another steamy kiss in the pool, so clearly they managed to get their romance back on track.
