In case you missed it, a Real Housewives of Cheshire spin-off is just days away from launching on ITVBe with the OG of OGs Tanya Bardsley fronting the show and, honestly, we smell a hilarious hit on the horizon.

New six-part series, The Bardsley Bunch, is being produced by Real Housewives of Cheshire producers, Monkey, and follows Tanya and her 'chaotic' family life in a '70s-sitcom style' reality series.

The show will revolve around Tanya and husband Phil's Wilmslow home, but will also follow the fam on various adventures in and out of Cheshire – including a turbulent caravan trip to Blackpool with the entire squad in tow.

ITV said, 'One of Cheshire’s best-loved and longest-standing Housewives, Tanya lifts the lid on the chaos of her home life in the hilarious new reality format.

'The series follows the life, laughter and love of the multi-generational household of Tanya, husband Phil, their four kids Gabriella, Rocco, Renz and Ralphi, grandparents Julie (we spoke to Julie too, and we can confirm – icon) and Steve, and Great Nana Irene.'

During a catch-up with Tanya and her family about the new show (we genuinely felt like we were catapulted into an episode in the BEST possible way) the Cheshire queen revealed that fans can expect to see one or two familiar faces popping up on the show – dropping bestie Lystra Adams and Sheena Lynch's names in the exclusive chinwag.

Tanya has, of course, just wrapped filming on series 18 of The Real Housewives of Cheshire; the ten-year anniversary saw a multitude of OG Housewives return to the show for the milestone season (something that was first exclusively revealed to Closer by Tanya last summer) including Leanne Brown, Dawn Ward and Magali Gorré.

Speaking about her recent stint as an OG guest on The Real Housewives of Cheshire (the series that made her a household name), Tanya told Closer online, 'I loved it. I do love going back to Housewives; just doing like my guest appearances, because you do end up missing them.

'I can just go in and then if someone bugs me, I'll just drop a bomb, and then I'll go off free and not take any of the backlash.'

Speaking of the return of various OG Housewives this season– some of which Tanya has clashed with since her Housewives debut in 2015, in particular Dawn Ward – Tanya revealed, 'Oh, it was lovely. [I filmed with] Leanne [Brown], yeah. And I saw Ester [Dee] and I saw Hanna [Kinsella].'

Tanya's new six-part series, The Bardsley Bunch, launches on ITVBe and ITVX on Wednesday 16 April at 9pm.
