The new series of Love Island is in full swing; it's only been two episodes and we've already had a super hot bombshell, a dramatic recoupling and the potential of someone being dumped from the villa.
As the Love Island 2023 contestants get 'on job' and decide who they want to be sneaking off into the Hideaway with, previous Islanders are stepping forward to open up about their time in the villa.
Samie Elishi, who made it to the final of the 2023 winter series, took to Instagram recently where she shared a pic of her and the girlies from season nine after they'd taken part in the controversial heart rate challenge.
Samie looked undeniably gorge dressed in a cut out leather bodysuit with matching horns and cape for the dance challenge and her partner at the time, Tom Clare, was decked out in a matching 'dark angel' ensemble.
Although we may be entertained by the saucy outfits and questionable dancing our Islanders offer up, it doesn't look like Samie feels the same way.
Adding a caption to the Instagram story, Samie admitted, "Feels like yesterday! Good luck to the new Islanders for this day 😂 I was shaking like a leaf 😭."
This isn't the first time a Love Island contestant has offered up their thoughts on the challenge.
Samie's BFF Claudia Fogarty's made a dramatic entrance into the villa in this particular episode and the northerner has previously confessed that at one stage she declared, "I can't do this."
Although Samie and Claudia are clearly not a fan of dressing up and attempting to seduce their villa mates, other contestants are built for the task.
Who could ever forget Danica Taylor stealing the show on Love Island 2022? Not to mention Curtis Pritchard living his best life when he sashayed out in a feather headdress during the Love Island 2019 series.
Zero predictions of who will soar and who will flop in this year's heart rate challenge except for Mehdi Edno, who we have no doubt will thrive.
