Can you believe we're already up to series 11 of Love Island? Nope. Us neither. And not only that, instead of a regular winter series, we've finally been treated to an All Stars version instead.
Turns out it's been one year since Love Island 2023 winter where we met Tom Clare, Zara Lackenby-Brown and Olivia Hawkins.
What an iconic trio that made for hilarious TV.
And while Tom was a bombshell on the series (the first one to enter as well), he managed to stay in the villa up until the final. As the latest All Stars bombshell, will he have as much luck his second time around?
So we thought now is a good enough time to see what he's doing one year since his villa stint and days before Love Island All Stars.
Who is Tom Clare?
He is a reality star turned semi-pro footballer. Tom is also a loyal (sorry Georgia Steel, babes), a High School Musical fan (we're head over heels now) and a bit of a mummy's boy.
Before going into the villa he said, "Obviously my mum thinks I’m the most amazing person in the world. She thinks I’m the best thing ever, bless her."

Who did Tom Clare couple up with in Love Island?
During his time in the villa, Tom coupled up with Zara but following some Olivia drama, they split. He then recoupled with Ellie Spence but his head was well and truly turned when Samie Elishi arrived.
What happened with Tom Clare and Samie Elishi?
Tom and Samie hit it off as soon as she entered the villa however, like all Love Island boys his head was turned during Casa Amor.
He managed to win Samie back after a lot of grovelling and they came third place.
Unfortunately it wasn't to last and in April 2023, Tom confirmed that they had split. Despite multiple rumours that they had rekindled their romance over the last year, since Tom is headed back into the villa, it's safe to say that they are firmly friends.
He managed to move on from their breakup though by moving in with BFF Casey O'Gorman.

He is 24 years old; at least until his passport or driving license proves otherwise.
When he went into the villa and his age (then 23) came to light, fans were left baffled at his age.
They flocked to Twitter to share their disbelief, with one writing, "Tom is 23? What are these people eating or drinking."
Another tweeted, "I refuse to believe Tom is 23. We need to see his passport," while a third remarked, "Tom isn’t 23 lol. The man could pass for a 32 year old, please."
One more added, "Tom cannot be the same 23 as me. Why does he look he could be one of my mate's dads."

During his first day in the villa, Tanya Manhenga asked him, “How tall are you?” to which he replied, _“_6’5, I like to be the little spoon though...”
During the winter series, fans couldn't get over how much Tom looks like a previous contestant - Jake Cornish from Love Island 2021, who infamously quit the show just FOUR DAYS before it ended. Jake beat his own record by quitting All Stars after just a few days in the villa, so unfortunately the pair have yet to be seen on-screen together to dispel the doppelgänger rumours.
One of the most-liked comments from the Instagram post of Tom's VT read, "He is giving me Jake vibes," with another commenting, "Giving me 'but you're my girlfriend' vibes as he kind of looks like Jake 🤣."
Jake didn't seem to mind the comparison as he responded to one of the comments with a couple of emojis, "🤪🤣."
Where is Tom Clare from?
He is from Barnsley, but definitely likes to travel. If his Instagram is anything to go by, Tom has a soft spot for Dubai because of course he does.
