We all know that Love Island 2022 contestant Danica Taylor is a phenomenal dancer. You've seen her in Antigoni Buxton's music video, right?
Danica may have Love Island to thank for that opportunity but before she was creating a storm in the villa, the dancer was still living her best life with a pretty cool job.
Sharing a pic on her Instagram story over the weekend, Danica let her followers know that she was dancing on stage at the the Capital Jingle Bell Ball this time last year. Well that's bloody cool, isn't it? No pun intended.
Kitted out in what we can only describe as a saucy sci-fi ensemble complete with a neon wig, Danica confessed that it was 'crazy' she performed at The O2 Arena as she was still just a uni student at the time.
Clearly Danica was always going to be a star. Performing with Jax Jones? At The O2? When you're a uni student? Absolute queen behaviour.
We're not the only ones who are Danica fans as during her time on Love Island, her biggest supporter came in the form of her mum Lindsey.
Although Danica had a rocky journey in the villa her mum always knew Danica would thrive, claiming the show was “written” for her daughter and says she one of the “fortunate ones in life to genuinely love herself”.
“She’s very confident and she loves herself, but she’s not arrogant with it,” Lindsey said back in the summer.
“I’ve been a single mum and I feel like I’m a strong person and I feel like I’ve raised both my girls to be really strong independent young ladies. She has definitely got that bit of fire in her."
Although Danica didn't find love on the show, Lindsay seems to know exactly what her daughter is after.
Lindsey revealed, “Somebody she can be silly with and have fun. Not someone who takes things too seriously. She’s very family-oriented so someone who has good morals and good values. She wants someone on her level who can match her energy.”
“She’s not a game player, she is who she says she is," Lindsey added.
