Okay, we'll be frank – this makes absolutely zero sense, but it's our job to deliver you Love Island news (the good, the bad and the bat sh*t).
After what feels like 84 years of waiting, Love Island fans in the UK are now FINALLY able to watch the Love Island spin-off Love Island Games – yep, the one where All Stars' Georgia Steel and Toby Aromolaran began their love affair – despite the fact that we already know everything about it (including the winners) thanks to the spoiler-free zone that is social media.
Why has it taken so long for the spin-off to arrive on UK screens? It's a bit of a long story, but in short this spin-off was produced by American streaming service Peacock, and not ITV, so no doubt there was a bit of negotiating going on across the pond.
But, you know what? Better late than never, and best of all, it's landed on ITVX the same day as the All Stars final, so we can literally move from one Love Island obsession to another.
In October 2023, Peacock confirmed this week that the line-up includes (take a deep breath and maybe crack a window, because this line-up is HAWT) Love Island 2019's Curtis Pritchard, Love Island 2018's Georgia Steel, Love Island 2018's Eyal Booker and Love Island 2021's Liberty Poole.
But wait, there's more. Love Island 2018's Jack Fowler, Love Island 2018's Megan Barton-Hanson, Love Island 2020's Mike Boateng, Love Island 2023 and Love Island USA star Scott van-der-Sluis (we can't figure out whether he's really good at Love Island or just really bad at Love Island) and Love Island 2021's Toby Aromolaran are all taking part too.
Add that sizzling hot mix in with gorgeous Islanders from the USA, Australia, Germany, Sweden and France editions and PHWOAR.
They also confirmed (inadvertently) that they're much better at taking those Love Island promo shots than ITV... cause these are 🔥🔥. But judge for yourself...
