She’s made no secret of her desperation to be a mum, and Lauren Goodger has been delighting in sharing her scan pictures and her blossoming bump with fans on social media.

And it could be a taste of things to come, as the former TOWIE favourite has hinted she could be set to make her own baby reality show – replying with a “nodding” GIF when a fan asked if she would consider making a show similar to Sam and Billie Faiers’ The Mummy Diaries, during an Instagram Q&A.

Now, an insider tells Closer that despite her due date being five months away, Lauren, 34, is already in talks with a production company, and hasn’t ruled out actually giving birth in front of the cameras – like Kourtney Kardashian did when she gave birth to daughter Penelope on KUWTK in 2012.

After previously revealing that she didn’t want to appear on screen looking like a “hot mess”, Lauren is now said to feel that if there’s a deal on the table, she’ll be willing to have her birth filmed. A source says, “Lauren would be happy to do it so long as she can get the glam squad in so that she’s looking her very best to meet her baby. So it’ll be a yes to a TV birth – as long as she can get a blow-dry!”

Lauren has revealed she’s hoping for a “water birth with candles”, and the insider adds that she is eyeing up London’s private Portland Hospital, which comes with a hefty price tag of anywhere between £6,000 and £30,000, and is where the likes of Victoria Beckham and Liz Hurley have given birth. With her reported net worth of £2.1m, Lauren can easily afford the best for her baby, previously saying, “I was born to be a mummy”.

The reality star suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage with then-boyfriend Jake McClean in 2013, when she was competing in Dancing On Ice, and previously revealed she had an abortion aged 20 when she was with ex-fiancé Mark Wright.
