Here's everything you need to know about Ferne McCann's pregnancy
TOWIE star Ferne McCann made a shocking revelation earlier this year when she announced she's pregnant with her first child.
Over the years we've watched her row, cry, laugh and fall out with friends, and that was only on TOWIE. We then saw her head down under into I'm A Celeb and although she came third she'll always be the winner in our eyes.
We fell in love with her presenting on This Morning and adore her even more since announcing she's pregnant, so we've decided to round up absolutely everything you need to know about Ferne McCann's pregnancy.
Ferne McCann's baby - the announcement
Earlier this year Ferne McCann surprised literally everyone when it came to light that she was pregnant. Due to difficult circumstances at the time with the father of her child she announced the news in a statement.
It read: "Ferne is grateful for the sympathetic way news of her pregnancy has been covered and people's support and obviously her first concern is for her child's health.
"Accordingly, she does not wish to discuss the pregnancy further given the early stage it is at and the immense strain that Ferne is currently under."
The spokeswoman went on to reveal that Ferne will raise her child alone: "Ferne is in no way seeking sympathy for her situation and is determined to do all she can to have a happy and healthy child and face the challenges of being a single parent with all her energy."
Since then there has been rumours that the reality star wants to raise her child away from Essex, there's been speculation that Sam Faiers turned her back on Ferne following her pregnancy announcement and the mum-to-be broke down in an interview on This Morning.
Following Ferne's emotional interview where she admitted she feels that her pregnancy "is a blessing," both Rylan Clark and her BFF Billie Faiers spoke about Ferne's bravery and the reality star opened up about the physical side effects she's been feeling since falling pregnant.
Who's the dad of Ferne McCann's baby?
Ferne is currently expecting her first child with her now ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins. The couple split after it was revealed that Arthur was involved in an acid attack in a nightclub in London. The 24-year-old then appeared in court on crutches ready to be charged with 14 counts of GBH. He has since denied the charges.
While the police were on a manhunt looking for Arthur, his then-girlfriend Ferne, released a statement saying: "She was not with Arthur on Sunday night, was not at Mangle and has no direct knowledge of the events that unfolded.
"As much as anybody she wants to know the truth and urges Arthur to co-operate fully with the police and attend a police station immediately."
After confirming her pregnancy Ferne admitted she doesn't "wish to discuss her ex-boyfriend who she does not recognise". Even though the parents-to-be have split Ferne is 'still talking' to Arthur as he awaits the trial for the acid attack.
Before Arthur was involved in the acid attack, Ferne denied he was a "bad boy" after Facebook posts from nine years ago surfaced where he spoke about Class-A drugs.
How long were Ferne McCann and Arthur Collins together?
It was only days before it came to light that Arthur was involved in the acid attack that the then happy couple were gushing about their relationship.
The pair first started seeing each other in August 2016 after Ferne followed him on Instagram, she told OK! magazine: "I thought he had such an unusual, cool look – then about a month later he slid into the DMs."
However after dating on/off for a few months they split because their relationship "wasn't going anywhere".
Ferne then took part in Celebs Go Dating and Arthur admitted he was jealous when he watched the show. The former TOWIE star then got back in touch with Arthur after the series ended which lead to a "spark" in the relationship.
In an interview with OK! the couple admitted they planned to move in with each other, before Ferne added: "I know that seems a bit rushed, but when you know, you know."
She also spoke about her wedding plans to Arthur and revealed all the details: "We want to get married on a beach. I want it to be a party and a celebration.
"I want these long extensions, mermaid-style hair covering my boobs, with flowers in my hair and no shoes.
"He can wear shorts and a shirt undone, then we want an amazing DJ with bongos and a saxophonist. Lobster brioche buns – just so unconventional."
Ferne McCann's baby bump
Ferne announced her baby news well before the advised three months and as a result everyone was pretty eager to see her little bump. Back in May during her first red carpet appearance since announcing her pregnancy she showed off her stomach at an award ceremony with her friend Vicky Pattison.
Then she teased fans with a glimpse of her bump when she wore a crop top. The yummy mummy then proudly showed off her growing baby bump for the first ever time in a photoshoot and to say it has grown since the last time we saw it, would be an understatement.
The reality star has since shared a video of herself wearing a bikini and showed her Instagram followers her baby bump before announcing she's officially a homeowner.
What's the gender of Ferne McCann's baby?
That's a good question but we don't think we're going to find out until the baby has actually arrived. Ferne has admitted she's "70% not wanting to find out" the sex of her baby.
She explained on This Morning: "I always thought, 'Oh when I'm pregnant, I'm definitely going to find out, get organised'. But now I'm in the situation I'm thinking it will be such a lovely surprise.
"So many of my friends that did find out said you can get organised and sort your colours out.
"But I think it's an incentive when it comes to the birth to push it out to see what you're having."
Although it seemed that Ferne was getting slightly impatient because she later went on to ask BGT's mind-reading act DNA to read her unborn child's mind to find out the sex and then she confessed she's "adamant" that she knows the gender of her little one.
Ferne McCann's baby name
The mum-to-be hasn't yet revealed any ideas she has for her baby's name although she has said one name she will not be calling her little one.
On Instagram, while she was out with her friend, Carl Cunard he gave her a couple of suggestions: "You could go for a fierce name like Bruce, or a soft name like Alfie."
However, Ferne was quick to shut down the suggestion and joked: "I'm sorry, Bruce is not a fierce name."
When's Ferne McCann's baby due?
Ferne announced she was pregnant before the advised three months however she has now opened up and revealed she that she due to welcome her baby in autumn.
