Ferne McCann has been laying low since the news broke that police are searching for her boyfriend, Arthur Collins, in connection with a nightclub acid attack.
The former TOWIE star swiftly deleted all traces of him from her social media accounts despite revealing her plans to marry him in a magazine interview just days before.
But now it seems Ferne has made her thoughts on the matter quite clear as fans claim to have spotted her at Bristol airport, getting ready to board a flight out of the UK.
A Twitter user took a snap of what they claim is Ferne, dressed in a baseball cap and chequered shirt.
“Swear I just saw @fernemccann in Bristol airport??” he wrote.
Until now, Ferne has not spoken about the manhunt for her boyfriend, but her spokesperson said: “Obviously these are highly shocking and Ferne has co-operated with the police in their enquiries.
“She was not with Arthur on Sunday night, was not at Mangle and has no direct knowledge of the events that unfolded.
“As much as anybody she wants to know the truth and urges Arthur to co-operate fully with the police and attend a police station immediately.”
Arthur is wanted in connection with an acid attack at the East London nightclub Mangle in the early hours of Monday morning. The attack left twenty people injured, with one victim reportedly losing sight in one eye, and others suffering serious burns.
The police are still searching for the 25 year-old scaffolder, and raided a property in Hertfordshire earlier this week. It’s believed to be Arthur’s £1 million family home and they reportedly found cannabis, drug-farming equipment and illegal firearms.
Concerns for Ferne’s career have also been raised, with one insider suggesting that she might not keep her role on This Morning.
“ITV bosses like Ferne and appreciate the work she’s been doing on the show, but it’s a family programme and given the headlines that she’s attracting now, it’s not the sort of image they want to be associated with,” they said.
“Families watch this show, it’s the home of the biggest names on TV so bosses have a duty to maintain a wholesome image.
“At the moment Ferne has no appearances on This Morning planned.”
