The cast of TOWIE let viewers into their lives every week and, over the years, we've seen everything from romance and relationships to family feuds and phobias on the show. Remember when Bobby Norris and Gemma Collins visited a snake enclosure? LOL.
Back in the day it seemed like nearly every cast member had their own shop, with Sam and Billie Faiers (as they were then) regularly filming scenes in Minnie's, or Lucy Mecklenburgh sharing her latest love woes in her Brentwood boutique, but we've seen less and less of the cast member's jobs outside of the show in recent years.
So, if you're wondering what the TOWIE cast get up to when they're not filming the ITVBe show then you're in luck as we've done some investigating to find out what their jobs are.

Chloe Meadows
Chloe revealed that she had graduated from an interior design course in March 2022. She's currently renovating her first property in East London with boyfriend George Wales and also recently shared a picture which showed she was working with fancy interior design company Frank & Faber. Not only that, but Chloe also took up podcasting when she was first axed from TOWIE and hosts the podcast Who Wants to Adult Anyway? with her BFF Courtney Green.
Courtney Green
Prior to joining TOWIE in 2016, Courtney worked as a PA. She's since launched her own make-up brand Palm Beauty London and even dabbled in the fashion industry when she and Chloe curated a collection for Missy Empire. Of course, this is all alongside the podcast she hosts with her best friend.
James 'Diags' Bennewith
When he's not starring on TOWIE, Diags works for his family's plumbing business Plumb Point Essex. Viewers of the ITVBe show will have seen him filming an advert for the company featuring his pals Dan Edgar and Pete Wicks and, back in 2016, cast members including James Lock and Jon Clark stripped off to pose for a plumbing themed calendar.
Yazmin Oukhellou
When she first joined TOWIE in 2017, Yazmin was also working as in IT and tech recruitment. She's since retrained as a real estate agent and moved to Dubai to focus on her career after quitting TOWIE last year. After returning to the show last year, Yazmin also revealed she'd qualified as a skin specialist and aesthetics practitioner as she launched a new business called Show Off Skin.
Elma Pazar
Love Island 2018 star Elma is one of TOWIE's newest cast members. Outside of her reality TV career, Elma is qualified in giving eyelash extensions. She specialises in classic, Russian and hybrid styles and works out of the Platinum Hair & Beauty salon in Essex.
Roman Hackett
Although he's still only 20 years old, Roman has a few other jobs outside of TOWIE. He works as a lifestyle manager for his mum Ann Marie's lifestyle agency and concierge service AMLuxe The Agency and has launched his own chauffeur company called RoLuxe Chauffeurs. Roman has also worked as a model.
Amy Childs
As Essex's very own Prosecco Princess, it's no surprise that Amy has got her own range of the sparkling wine. She launched her own prosecco brand with with award-winning winemakers Liquid Diamond last year and was fully involved in the whole process. In the early days of TOWIE, Amy worked as a beauty therapist - with her salon often being featured on the show - and was single-handedly responsible from introducing the world to vajazzling.
Harry Derbidge
Essentially Essex's answer to Kylie Jenner, Harry is a make-up mogul and owns the brand Beauty Brave. According to their Instagram bio, they're "changing the game one beauty product at a time".
Ella Rae Wise
Ella has worked as a hairdresser and in a tanning salon alongside her reality TV career, which includes appearances on TOWIE and Celebrity Ex on the Beach. During her brief break from the ITVBe show following last year's mass cull, she qualified as an aesthetics practitioner but doesn't appear to have ventured into business yet.
Dani Imbert
Dani's main job is reality star and influencer, so she's basically living the dream. She recently revealed that she used to work in finance during breaks from the show but has now packed it in for "bigger and better things". "I was working for a financial advisers company local to me in Brentwood, so I’d do that between my breaks," she told The Sun.
Junaid Ahmed
TOWIE newcomer Junaid Ahmed is no stranger to reality TV, having appeared on Amazon Prime dating show Lovestruck High before joining the cast of the ITVBe show. However, before appearing on TV he actually worked as a bank manager. Exclusively telling Closer Online at TOWIE's series 30 launch, "Full time, in the city. I'm not just a pretty face. I have brains and beauty. I actually worked at the bank from the age of 20-25, started from the bottom and worked my way up to the the top - I was an area manager and I absolutely loved it." However he decided to change careers because he realised, "I knew for myself in the corporate world, I'm destined for more things."
Saffron Lempriere
Saffron worked for former BFF Gemma Collins' boutique before joining the cast of TOWIE alongside her then pal. Since then, she's launched a new venture upcycling furniture after picking up the hobby in lockdown. Saffron also has an Instagram page dedicated to providing outfit inspo and selling pre-loved clothes.
Jordan Brook
Jordan, who returned to TOWIE this year after being axed in 2018, is a men's hairstylist and co-founded a luxury haircare brand called MR.J with his brother Jack. Hairdressing isn't his only talent though, as he recently revealed his amazing singing voice on social media.
James Lock
Prior to finding fame, Lockie worked as a supervisor at an electrical company. Since joining TOWIE, he's launched his own fitness plan and opened a restaurant called Lockie's Kitchen in 2016. The business closed two years later and he's now turned his attention to acting, with an upcoming role in a film called The Cut.
Dan Edgar
Dan worked as an electrician before joining the cast of TOWIE in 2015. It seems that he now makes enough money from his reality TV career and Instagram endorsements that he doesn't need a job outside of the show.
Amber Turner
Amber worked as a waitress and in compliance at a law firm before joining TOWIE in 2017. She was also known as a fashion blogger and for her Depop page The Wardrobe, which boasted 28k followers. Amber launched her fitness and lifestyle platform Active With Amber in 2020 - which rivaled Yaz's - and regularly shares recipes and workout plans with her subscribers.
Pete Wicks
Pre-fame Pete worked as the director of a company which supplied consultant doctors to the NHS, but since appearing on TOWIE he's begun working a model, influencer and reality star. He regularly appears on shows like Celebs Go Dating, Celebrity Masterchef and Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, using his earnings to invest in property.
Chloe Brockett
Chloe worked in a London salon in her teens and also tempted in offices before joining TOWIE as a fresh-faced 18 year old. Last year she launched her own clothing brand called Miss Babe.
Some former TOWIE cast members had jaw-dropping jobs before joining the show and, frankly, we surprised they didn't mention them more often. Clelia Theodorou, who was culled last year, even won Miss Great Britain in 2014.
Georgia Kousoulou, who is currently on a break from TOWIE after giving birth to son Brody, ran her own shop as revealed in an Instagram Q&A earlier this year when she told fans, "I had a clothes shop before, I then turned it into a 'one stop shop' with beauty as well."
