TOWIE's Georgia Kousoulouhas been an Essex favourite since she joined the ITVBe back in 2014. We've watched her grow from a party girl to the agony aunt of Brentwood and we've loved watching her find her happy ever after with fiancé Tommy Malletand son, Brody.
The Essex power couple have even landed their own ITVBe spin-off show, documenting family life with little Brody. Tommy & Georgia: Baby Steps was originally aired as a two-episode special following the pair as they welcomed their baby son Brody into the world last year but it’s been so successful that a full series was made.
However, you'll be surprised to know that Georgia's life before TOWIE was also pretty impressive, as she's revealed that she owned her own shop before she joined the show - which is unheard of as many of the show's stars get shops after finding fame and social media followers.
Hardcore TOWIE fans will remember that Gemma Collins, Joey Essex, Chloe Sims and Billie and Sam Faiers all had their own shops during filming. Sam and Billie's shop, Minnies, is still going today, although it is run by their mum, Suzie.
In a recent Instagram Q&A, Georgia was asked, "What was your job before TOWIE?", and she responded, "I had a clothes shop before, I then turned it into a 'one stop shop' with beauty as well".
In the same Q&A, Georgia also responded to rumours that she and Tommy were planning to emigrate to start a better life for Brody, who just celebrated his first birthday.
In the upcoming episode of Georgia & Tommy: Baby Steps, Tommy, who founded his own footwear brand MALLET, announced their plans and will discuss the guilt he feels when he's not with his son.
"I feel selfish with what I am trying to build. I want to try and live in the moment a little bit, but I want to have a bit of peace in my life," he revealed.
"This trip (Mallorca) was the first time I have been away from Brody overnight, I miss him badly. I want Brody to grow up and learn Spanish and have a different style of life. I want him to have something different to what I had."
Georgia then spoke about the plans on Instagram after the show aired, revealing, "Maybe not move, but we would like a place there!"
Since giving birth, Georgia hasn’t been afraid to open up about the struggles of motherhood and she told us that she hopes her honesty will help out other new mums.
“I feel like no one ever talks about how hard it is. Women have got to stick together and I don’t want to go on Instagram and see a mum that’s just had a baby looking like she’s got her sh*t together. I don’t want to see that,” she said.
