It seems that TOWIE star Ella Rae Wise has achieved the impossible.
Not only did she manage to keep the face and name of her lover under wraps, which had us both impressed and infuriated, but it looks as though the romance has now come to an end and STILL the identity of her former bae is a mystery.
The news of their split came after Ella posted a cryptic quote on her Instagram story, a classic reality TV star movie, which read, "Before I stoop to your level, I'll show you how you aren't on mine."
WELL, if that isn't shade then we don't know what is.
It's practically in our DNA to know everything about the cast of TOWIE and yet when it came to Ella and her boyfriend, all we had was snippets of him via soppy social media posts and cropped out body parts.
We recognise how gruesome the end of that last sentence sounds but truly that's all we were being offered by the reality TV star / secret agent.
However, in recent weeks there has been no pics of his pinky finger on a blurred shot of his arm, which has people wondering if they have split.
The Sun also hinted at the break up after she shared a rather furious quote over the Christmas period stating, "Cheating on your partner then coming home to them and looking them in their eyes telling them you love them is a whole different level of disrespect. I said what I said."
Just before December, Ella offered her followers a run down of her year and, naturally, her other half made an appearance. Well, his arm did anyway, but when 2023 came to an end no doting message towards her other half was declared, all but cementing the assumption Ella is now single.
Series 32 of TOWIE was a rollercoaster for everybody involved, especially Ella, who fell out with long-time besties Dani Imbert and Junaid Ahmed and constantly found herself rowing with the duo.
That being said, in a move NOBODY saw coming she managed to make amends with Queen B Amber Turner as well as her minions Chloe Meadows and Courtney Green.
Hell hath well and truly frozen over.
Ella's relationship seemed like a dream come true as she previously shared a sweet, albeit sickly, image of her and mysterious beau creating a heart shape with their hands and added some "💘💘💘" emojis.
The first time Ella shared a photo of her boyfriend way back when, we knew he was a hottie. Sure, it was from the chin down thanks to Ella's purposeful cropping, but let's face it, if he's dating Ella Rae Wise he was going to be a solid swipe right, wasn't he?
The TOWIE icon posted the snap of her tatted hunny boarding what looks like a private jet and captioned it, "Have the best time. I love you."
The last time Closer caught up with Ella face-to-face, she spent the majority of the interview gushing about her new man and even teased that they could be taking some MAJOR steps in their relationship in the not-too-distant future.
She said, “My relationship is going really well and it’s lovely because I’ve finally found someone that’s all for me, all for what I do, all for elevating me in my life.”
Ella teased that he could make an appearance on TOWIE as she added, “I’m very happy. I’m very excited to see where it’s gonna take me. My family love him. I’m just excited to see what happens and hopefully you will be seeing him. Fingers crossed.
“He’s not anyone you’ve probably seen before because he’s not in the public eye. He’s just very normal, very loving, got a very good business and gives me his whole heart.”
Ella’s former bestie Junaid chimed in, “I love seeing you two together, you’re so cute. You’ll be married by the next series or have a baby!”
“I reckon I probably will have a ring on my finger,” Ella replied.
The blonde reality TV star previously spent a romantic evening at Starlight Camp in Dubai, a luxurious camp site in the Arabian desert, which is so top secret only the guests know the exact location.
The night started with Ella showing her followers a bunch of red and cream roses, followed by a romantic dinner at a candlelit secret location in the desert.
The TOWIE star's evening only got better with a delicious meal, stargazing and watching a movie under blankets and the stunning night sky.
She told her followers it was "a night I'll never forget" and she shared yet more snaps of her enjoying the cosy evening.
Who is Ella Rae Wise's boyfriend?
Nobody knows.
Well, we're sure Ella's friends and fam are well acquainted with her boyfriend, but here at Closer HQ his identity is a mystery.
If they have split for good we probably never will.
What happened between Ella Rae Wise and Pete Wicks?
Ella and Pete Wicks enjoyed a brief fling after sharing an off-screen kiss, although they never made their romance official and she always insisted they were just "flirty friends." At the time, she told Closer, “When I said to the girls, ‘We’re quite flirty,’ I think they took it as a little thing; they didn’t realise how flirty we were. Even the show producers said, ‘We can sit there and watch you look at each other.’ He’s got really good chat.”
The pair then sparked rumours they were back on in July 2022 when they were pictured kissing outside a London club following a night out at the ITV Summer Party but they are now just friends.
What happened between Ella Rae Wise and Callum Izzard?
They were pictured snogging on the dancefloor at the opening of Vision nightclub in Manchester in October 2022 and a source told The Sun, "Callum is so far from Ella’s normal type but everything seems to be working out really well. They only met a few times before they started filming The Challenge in Argentina. They got really close after a couple of weeks and they’ve got such a strong bond. They look perfect together."
They added, "No one was expecting a relationship to blossom between Ella and Callum. They live on opposite ends of the country but hopefully they can make it work. Everyone is so happy to see Ella with a man who will respect her and treat her the way she deserves.”
However, Ella later exclusively confirmed to Closer Online that she wasn't in an official relationship with Callum and they were just "getting to know each other". It was later reported that they had split following "constant rows".

When Jordan Brook returned to TOWIE he admitted that he was keen to get to know Ella as the cast filmed in the Dominican Republic. After serenading Ella on a boat trip, the pair went on a romantic dog walk when they were back in Essex and agreed to go on a second date. However, the second date was scrapped when Jordan told Gatsby that Ella had been ignoring his texts before he phoned her to call things off.
Jordan teased that a romance with Ella could still be on the cards after they were seen looking cosy at the TOWIE press launch in August. But the pair later split after filming ended as Ella confirmed they're just friends and now Jordan is loved up with former Geordie Shore legend, Sophie Kasaei.
