There was a TOWIE and Geordie Shore crossover when the Essex-based show returned. Geordie OG Sophie Kasaei made her debut on the ITVBe show with boyfriend Jordan Brook.
But although the likes of Amber Turner, Dan Edgar and Chloe Meadows were delighted to see Sophie find her happy ever after in Essex, the same couldn’t be said for others.
Not only did Chloe Brockett look very uncomfortable when Sophie and Jordan walked into Amber and Dan’s housewarming party, but Dani Imbert and Ella Rae Wise weren’t entirely convinced that Jordan was being genuine – with Dani branding him a “red flag”.
“I think he’s a people pleaser. He tells people what they want to hear, so it does make you question him,” she said.
“It’s so true, because he’s literally friends with everyone,” Ella added, and Dani replied, “For me, that’s a red flag. You need enemies, otherwise you ain’t genuine.”
However, not everyone agreed with Dani and Ella, including Sophie’s BFF Holly Hagan. She took to the Instagram comments of one of TOWIE’s posts to defend Jordan as she wrote, “If the biggest ‘red flag’ people can say about this man is that he’s friends with everyone then I think he’s doing alright 🤣❤️.”
Holly added, “You both deserve happiness and it radiates from you both when you’re together 🥹.”
Sophie also commented, “Awww 🥰 nice to see a bit [of] happiness and positivity here 👏 thank you for all your love and support everyone ❤️.”
Dani’s beef with Jordan dates back to last series when he called her out for snogging Roman Hackett just weeks after her break-up from Liam ‘Gatsby’ Blackwell, while Ella had an on / off relationship with Jordan that’s now well and truly off.
Speaking about her romance with Jordan during the series 31 premiere, Sophie said, “I’m a bit older right, so I want them next stages in life. I want the kids and I want the family. But you’re a family man, aren’t you? So when we met it was very instant.”
Jordan added, “I’m bang in love with the girl.”
