It’s fair to say that battle lines have well and truly been drawn between the TOWIE cast during the latest season.
In one corner, there’s Dani Imbert, Junaid Ahmed, Ella Rae Wise and Roman Hackett, while in the other there’s Amber Turner, her besties Courtney Green and Chloe Meadows, plus Chloe Brockett, Elma Pazar and newcomers Mia Sully and Hannah Voyan.
The divide was deepened in a recent episode when Dani’s ex-boyfriend Liam ‘Gatsby’ Blackwell shared a kiss with Hannah after they both admitting to fancying each other. But while it seems that things are awkward between her and Hannah onscreen, Dani has revealed it couldn’t be more different off camera.
She cleared things up on Instagram while taking part in a Q&A with her followers when one asked, “How do you feel about the new girls? Are you friends or is it awks 😬.”
Alongside a behind the scenes video of her, Junaid, Mia and Hannah filming at the finale, Dani wrote, “You won’t see it on the show because it was towards the end of the series but yes we all became friends.
“It was just never covered and we never had the chance to film together. They’re the loveliest girls xxx.”
Thank goodness for that, eh? There’s more than enough drama in Essex at the moment.
Besides, it seems that Hannah’s blossoming romance with Dani’s ex Gatsby is well and truly off after he confirmed he was dating someone new.
“She’s different to all the other girls I’ve dated. She’s classy, she’s educated, she's pretty and she’s just from a different world and she’s not like the typical girls that I usually go for, it’s worlds apart,” Gatsby gushed about the new lady in his life.
He told The Sun, “Obviously it’s early days, but we’re just seeing how it goes. We’ve been dating for two months now.
“She’s not an Essex girl."
Um, she's different because she's classy and educated? Ouch.
