Okay, we are huge Chloe Brockett fans here at Closer online – seriously, we leave each other cute little voice notes and everything – but at this point in her TOWIE / influencer journey we're fairly certain she's going to fall out with her reflection and / or shadow any day now.
An exaggeration on our part, agreed, but it paints a picture; our Chloe seems to be falling out with EVERYONE on TOWIE at this point – apart from her new besties Junaid Ahmed, Dani Imbert and maybe Amy Childs' daughter Polly.
How could anyone fall out with that iconic TOWIE princess?
TOWIE fans will already know that Chloe's latest gripe is with (former?) show bestie and Love Island star Elma Pazar. In a nutshell (we're on a word limit here), Chloe is sick of "people pleaser" Elma hanging out with the likes of Amber Turner, Chloe Meadows and Courtney Green – who Chloe recently (and spectacularly) fell out with.
Elma is biting back, saying she's not happy with the way her (former?) bestie is speaking to her or other people or managing her friendships.
Even casual TOWIE viewers can see this is only going to escalate as the series progresses (although it's likely to reach it's narrative climax prior to the final episode as Chloe B was suspended just before that) and if you follow Chloe on Instagram it's clear that, months on, tensions are still VERY high.
In the most Chloe B way, the TOWIE icon recently took to her Instagram story to share her thoughts on her latest on-screen row (the "heated discussion" between her and Elma at the drag show). Many fans clocked that Elma brought up that Chloe's mum had unfollowed her on Instagram and, although the girls appeared to put that to bed, Chloe B is clearly still miffed that Elma brought that up.
In an Instagram Story rant (which has now vanished) Chloe B laid on some seriously passive aggressive shade directed at Elma, claiming that no one should be bringing family members into these types of rows.
Chloe then posted a snap of her and mum Clare to her Story with the shadiest caption. She wrote, "My Mumma is my bestie... So if that means unfollowing a fake friend before I do, she'll do it 🤣. Grateful for her always 🫶🏻."
She might not have named Elma directly in the post, but yeah, its crystal clear who this ball of shade was aimed at.
What happened with Chloe Brockett and, well, everyone?
The last season ended with Chloe B and Amber's friendship in tatters, which meant Amber's Girlband were also part of the 'we're not friends with Chloe Brockett' brigade.
The feud forced Chloe B to find a new bunch of babes to hang out with and so she became besties with Dani and Junaid, which means they ended up falling out with Ella Rae Wise, who Chloe hasn't seen eye to eye with for yonks.
But whatever happened between Chloe B and the rest of the clan, we always felt safe in knowing that she had BFF Elma Pazar at her side.
Right?
RIGHT?
Erm, no.
In a move none of us saw coming, Chloe and Elma recently unfollowed each other on social media which we all know is an act of war.
If this was the olden days they would be meeting at dawn for a duel, that's just how serious such a move is.
Before the series aired, the official TOWIE Instagram posted a video of Elma in which she said, "So the friendship groups...oh it's a mess. The whole thing is a sh*t show."
We assumed Elma and Chloe B were still besties when this was filmed as she continued, "But I've got my Chloe, so I think that's alright. I've got Chloe Brockett obviously."
But do you, though?
Just a few hours later another post made its way onto the TOWIE Instagram grid and this featured Elma admitting the series was, "Shocking, emotional," before adding, "an embarrassment, apparently."
Wait, is Elma 'an embarrassment?' Is the show 'an embarrassment?' What does this all mean?
After noticing that neither Elma or Chloe have posted each other on their socials lately we checked out their following list and there it was, in black and white, the former BFFs are no longer social media pals.
Naturally, followers filled the comments section with their thoughts on the fallout. One wrote, "Because of girlband Amber T Chloe M Courtney 🐍🤭🥱😡😤🙄😒 mean...girls"
But another TOWIE fan was not happy with the assumption that the 'Girlband' friendship group was to blame and instead passed the focus to Chloe B.
"It has absolutely nothing to do with Girlband.. stop blaming them for everything with Chloe Brockett..."
