The current series of TOWIE is all about Junaid Ahmed and Joe Blackman's new relationship, Amber Turner living her best life in Dubai with her new man and Ella Rae Wise and Dan Edgar's on/off relationship.
But cast your mind back a few years and Dan was involved in another huge storyline surrounding Chloe Sims and Pete Wicks.
Throwback to 2019 and after Dan and Amber split for the umpteenth time, he started dating Chloe but it was all very messy. Chloe was always in tears, Dan couldn't commit and apparently Joey Essex was fuming about his pal dating his cousin.
Dan and Chloe split, he then reunited with Amber but then the TOWIE cast (and the rest of us) were shook when it came out that Chloe and Pete had secretly been friends-that-crossed-the-line for TWO years.
While all this was going on Dan and Pete fell out over Chloe but as it turns out, time really does heal old wounds because when we caught up with Dan, he seemingly has no hard feelings towards his former co-star.
When we asked if he'd watched Pete on Strictly, he admitted to us, 'I haven't spoken to him but he seems like he is doing really well.'
Okay, so technically he hasn't spoken to him but he did watch him on Strictly 2024 which must mean they're on okay terms... Right? Right.
And it actually makes total sense because Pete and Chloe are back on good terms too, so maybe life after TOWIE isn't too bad, ey?
And following in his former co-star's footsteps, Dan will be appearing on Dancing on Ice 2025 and although he's been training, he admitted that he's 'very nervous'.
'When I was watching Pete doing a live performance the reality starts to kick in for me... The whole thing of a live performance, the dancing, it is something that is so out my comfort zone.
'With TOWIE, it doesn't matter if we mess up but here [Dancing on Ice] there is no re-runs. The more the weeks go by the more confident I am...'
