Thanks to Real Housewives of Cheshire icon Rachel Lugo, we now know that series 17 of the hit ITVBe reality series debuts at the end of this month and after months and months of waiting, let us tell you, our body and souls are ready for some fresh dramz from the Golden Triangle. And with legendary Housewives Lauren Simon, Sheena Lynch, Nicole Sealey and Seema Malhotra all set to make spectacular returns this season, we're manifesting a slay.
In fact, we have that on good authority now; loose-lipped icon of icons Lystra Adams recently revealed that fans should prepare themselves for a serious shift in cast dynamics this series, alluding to unlikely friendships and, possibly, even unlikelier 'endships'.
We might've just made up that word, but how FIERCE is that word?
During a particularly juicy Instagram Q&A with her followers, Lystra was asked, "Is there a shift in the friendship dynamics this season?"
The reality star went on to confess (while getting her hair transformed into a stunning shade of blonde, we might add) that the friendship dynamics have indeed shifted this year and we are living for this tea.
She revealed, "There is definitely a shift. One hundred percent. Yes, we are still currently filming and, I think you guys are gonna be, as always, happy when you see what we get up to. But, to answer that question – yes."
Naturally, we've gone into full Wagatha Christie mode (ooo, didn't that start in Cheshire, too?) to learn just what the heck is going on in amongst Cheshire's elite.
Let's start with what we know: Hanna Kinsella's RHOCheshire future is still very much up in the air. Quit rumours have been doing the rounds for months and months and we know that Hanna is yet to film a single scene for 17 (and we're well into the filming schedule now). And if Hanna is MIA, that leaves Rachel without a show bestie and Seema without a frenemy. Hmm...
We also know the relationship between Lystra and Nicole has been spiky for months and months now – in fact, they barely interacted with one another last series (apart from when Lystra removed a chair from under Nicole during a particularly spicy dinner party).
Does this mean Lystra and Nicole have made up? Or does this mean that our Lystra has added another Housewife to her culled list?
Of course, we're just going to have to wait for the series to air to find out for certain, but we'll leave you with something we also know for certain: Lystra is following Seema, Sheena, Lauren and Hanna on Instagram and NOT Rachel or Nicole.
We can't help but wonder if this 'shift' in relationship dynamics has something to with arguably the two biggest queens of the series; Lystra and Rachel (Rachel is not following Lystra either, btw). If our sleuthing skills are on to something here, we all should be preparing ourselves for some exceptional telly.
