Olivia Attwood - aka Love Island 2017's icon - took to her Instagram after teasing a hair transformation earlier this week and we have to say, it's cute but ever so slightly anti-climatic.
The ex-Islander recently told her followers that she will be updating her long locks and of course, here at Closer we are obsessed with Liv's every move so we were waiting patiently for the make over results.
Olivia took her followers with her as she headed to the salon for a refresh and in the process revealed her natural, shorter hair.
She took a sneaky pic of her natural hair and captioned, "So obvs this is my hair before... no extensions in!"
Considering Olivia has had extensions for some time her natural hair is still in good condition and much longer than we had anticipated.
But the after look is what we were truly interested in and yes Olivia looked gorgeous (as always) but it wasn't the drastic change we were hoping for. We thought perhaps she would do a Chyna Mills and cut it all off or a Frankie Sims and go Wednesday Addams black.
Chatting on her story, Olivia even admitted that she might have been a little on the dramatic side when she told her followers that a 'transformation,' would take place.
"I feel like I might have over sold this as if I'm doing some massive change when actually it's quite subtle," she joked.
Olivia's new hair is blonder, longer and softer and it might not be a complete beauty overhaul but it's stunning nonetheless.
In classic Olivia Attwood style, the reality TV star offered a sassy response to anyone who might have something to say about her dramatising the reveal by adding, "But ya know I'm dramatic, sue me x"
Nah, we love you the way you are. Drama and all.
Tagging her hairdresser and the extensions used, Olivia let her fans know how they can achieve the new blonde look.
As one of Love Island's most popular contestants Olivia is constantly quizzed about her next move in the world of showbiz and often does Instagram Q and A's in order to keep her followers updated on her latest venture.
Just recently Olivia spoke out about joining the Real Housewives franchise, which is so weird because that's actually a dream come true for literally everyone in the Closer office.
The Love Island 2017 contestant turned documentarian turned I'm A Celeb 2022 campmate (well, for a few hours at least) teased a connection with the Real Housewives franchise, a year after moving to Cheshire with footballer fiancé Bradley Dack. We've been putting the pieces of the jigsaw together and we're bloody excited.
Is Olivia returning to reality TV by joining The Real Housewives of Cheshire?
No – at least not yet. Unfortunately, it seems we were working on an entirely different jigsaw to Liv; but that's not to say she isn't interested in the global franchise. The conversation arose during a recent Instagram Q&A when a fan asked Liv, "U would defo be on RHOBH if Brad ever moved to a US team. PS can this happen plz," to which Olivia responded, "OMG can you imagine!!!!!!!!"
Yes, Liv. Yes, we can. Seriously, Kyle Richards who? Lisa Vander-WHO? We didn't mean that last one.
For football context: Brad currently plays for Blackburn Rovers, hence the couple's relocate to Cheshire last year. There's every possibility Bradley and Olivia could one day do a Posh and Becks and make a name for themselves across the pond should a US team show an interest in Bradley in the near future. Which means there's every possibility Olivia would find her way on to the set of at least one of the iconic American Real Housewives series – surely she'd be married by then too, so there's that Housewife part ticked off, too.
This isn't the first time an iconic Islander has been linked to the Real Housewives franchise. Earlier this year, Paige Thorne collaborated with RHOCheshire star Seema Malhotra's fashion label Forever Unique to launch her own clothing collection. Naturally, this got the possibility cogs turning in our heads; if Paige is now making regular trips to Cheshire to visit Forever Unique boss, Seema – building on their new professional relationship – could a Real Housewives of Cheshire cameo be on the cards?
Speaking of the Love Island star, Seema exclusively told Closer Online, "Honestly, she was amazing to work with. I wanted to work with her because I just love the work ethic. You see a lot of girls that go into this show and, you know, you like people that are real, that you really can engage with.
"For me, she ticked all the boxes. She really is that sort of girl next door; very sweet, very hard-working. I just think we have a lot in common.
"I loved doing the photoshoot with her – she worked really hard. When someone really believes in you, it makes you want to believe in them. We did well with Paige.”
A glowing reference for Miss Thorne from RHOCheshire royalty, but will fans ever get to see her on the show as a result of this promising new collaboration? Seema coyly responded, "Who knows? You’ll have to wait and see."
Why did Olivia Attwood leave I'm a Celeb 2022 early?
If there’s one thing you can rely on Olivia for, it’s top-tier-quality television - remember her epic feud with Chloe Brockett on TOWIE?

Her team took to Instagram with a statement saying, "To say Olivia is heartbroken would be an understatement, she dreamed of doing 'I'm a Celeb' for years, and was absolutely loving every second of the show and throwing herself into jungle life feet first (just as we knew she would).
"However, for reasons beyond her control her journey has been cut short. Your support and kind words have meant the absolute world to her, now as much as it always has. 🤍 ".
They added, "You will hear the truth from Olivia in due course and she will be back on your screens in the New Year. ✨ Ps. Who's going to roast Matt Hancock now?? ".
