For the first time in Real Housewives of Cheshire history fans of the reality series seem to be experiencing more drama on social media than they are experiencing on their telly screens DURING a season which is serving up high drama. We're genuinely having to keep notes on our phone out of working hours just to keep up with it all.
That's not a whinge at our employers; we live for this...
The latest helping of online #dramz comes from the legendary Nicole Sealey – who, this series, has already seriously clashed with new Housewife Natasha Hamilton and Lystra Adams (after Lystra allegedly removed a chair from under Nicole at the dinner party), and has reconciled with long-time friend Lauren Simon (following that cruise beef).
Nicole has posted a SERIOUSLY cryptic, albeit still SEETHING Instagram Story. Posting a snap from the film The Joker and adding 30s of the track The Joker and the Queen by Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift, Nicole wrote, "When some people are so desperate for the limelight they lie #jokesonthem.
"BTW if you think I'm talking about you then i probably am 😉. More #desperatehousewives than @officialrhoch."
It's an exquisitely crafted shady post, to be fair to Nicole.
Although Nicole does not name and shame "some people" directly, nor does she confirm that she is even referring to one of her co-stars (although the last sentence suggests so), she could be referring to one of the two Housewives she is currently feuding with – Lystra or Natasha.
Nicole and Lystra have mentioned each other on social media for months now and Natasha recently made some comments on Lorraine.
Sitting alongside OG Housewife Tanya Bardsley, Natasha spoke of THAT dinner party, revealing "Do you know what? It's so hard in that situation because a lot of things had led up to that dinner party, you might not have actually seen.
"So, there's a lot of tension. When I go to the dinner party, Nicole wasn't looking at me and I thought, 'Oh, she's coming... She's coming'."
This is what we in the biz would describe as 'shots fired'.
Natasha went on to add, "There doesn't always have to be [arguments], some personalities tend to go... whether they're threatened, I don't know. But, I like to empower women; I'm one of them women. I'm like, 'Go on, girl. Good for you.' But not everyone's like that."
If you're shade alarm's not going off, might we suggest you change the batteries?
Natasha even cast a shadow of a doubt over her future on the reality series, saying, "I'm not looking forward to another one, to be honest."
We obviously can't be certain here, but we have an inclining we've discovered the identity of Nicole's shady Instagram post.
Don't mind us, ladies. We'll just be sat here munching on popcorn Martin Akinola style.
