This might be our favorite TOWIE x Love Island crossover to date, although the romance between Matilda Draper becoming Roman Hackett's girlfriend and moving to TOWIE has seriously stiff competition.

Who could forget how iconic Olivia Attwood was on the show? That row with Chloe Brockett is the stuff of reality TV legend.

That being said, the Love Island 2024 bombshell has already shaded a few of her soon-to-be cast members and the new series hasn't even aired yet.

The official TOWIE Instagram page has been adding mini interviews with the cast during the lead up to series 35 and the latest one features Essex's new fave love birds, Roman and Matilda.

The couple touch on Matilda meeting Roman's ex Dani Imbert who they claim is 'jealous' but in an, 'awww you guys are so cute,' kind of way not in a, 'Roman is mine, back off' way.

During their segment Matilda admitted, 'I get on with everyone, there no one that I have any qualms with.

'The only people I haven't met yet are Junaid [Ahmed] and Joe [Blackman].

'I've not heard the best things about them,' she went on and we aren't surprised by that.

The controversial couple were caught up in last season's biggest storyline after Joe split from Harry Derbidge and proceeded to date Harry's pal, Junaid.

'But, you know, you got to wait to meet people on your own,' she finished with Roman seeming to agree with the sentiment.

'Be your own judge of character,' he added.
