We sometimes forget that our fave TOWIE stars have lives and even jobs outside of the show.
Take Essex Lothario Dan Edgar, for example, while his past relationship with Amber Turner and new relationship with Ella Rae Wise have been the talk of the town for months and months now, what fans might not know is that behind ITVBe cameras Dan is actually making a splash as a business owner. Literally.
Much like his co-star James Lock, who launched gym wear brand Levo in 2022, Dan has launched a clothing business called Beluga, one that has been thriving for a while now.
According to the brand’s Instagram bio, Beluga – which was established during lockdown – is a luxury swimwear company whose products are all made “ethically” with organic and recycled materials.
Beluga released their first collection last summer and their second collection is just around the corner, and many of the items have been sneakily modelled by Dan himself (and his mates Roman Hackett and Jordan Brook) during various cast trips.
Beluga recently teased its new SS24 campaign shoot on it's official Instagram grid, and after a little digging we discovered that not only is one of Dan's former TOWIE stars modelling the boujie swimwear on his socials, but he seems to be working with Dan across the business.
Dan has been at the forefront of the TOWIE drama in series 33; hooking up with Ella Rae Wise and giving EVERYONE in Essex something major to talk about was never going to leave him with anything but a main character role this season, was it?
But the drama on screen is only the half of it for our Dan; according to reports, Dan allegedly recently cheated on Ella with his ex Hannah Rally while Ella was on holiday in Dubai, which has has led to some seriously passive aggressive backlash from Ella on social media - and a predictable, dignified silence from his other ex, Amber.
So it's safe to say a fair few pairs of Beluga swim shorts have ended up on hotel room floors over the last few months then...
