If you watched the first episode of TOWIE series 32 last night, you'll know it was nothing short of a train wreck; we're not being shady, we mean 'train wreck' in the best possible way. The #dramz, the fallouts and the rows in Cyprus were boiling over to such an extent we found ourselves actually taking notes to keep up with everything.
If you're yet to watch the first episode, here's a little creative imagery to help you picture how the cast are feeling: imagine the TOWIE cast all rattled up with passive aggression, then collectively thrown into some giant cocktail shaker for human beings, then shaken for two months and poured out for our entertainment. They're all rattled, mixed up and, frankly, its utter carnage; but as sad as it is to see them all so rattled, this is the TOWIE #dramz we came for and we have no doubt series 32 is going to be the season of seasons.
Naturally, after such an explosive first episode, plenty of the cast quickly turned to social media on Sunday (3 September 2023) to candidly share their thoughts on the season premiere and respond to any brewing backlash directed towards them nice and early.
Some serious shade was thrown from several camps; Dani Imbert and Junaid Ahmed came for Ella Rae Wise, Chloe Brockett came for Chloe Meadows, and Amber Turner – whose return was teased in the most Love Island 'tomorrow night" way ever at the end of the first episode – came for her former chum, Chloe B.
We'd usually write 'shots fired' right about now, but that's just a given at this point. Generally, everyone should be ducking.
During last night's debut episode, the Chloes came to blows weeks after Chloe B posted a seething video about Chloe M on her social media after witnessing several things Chloe M had said about her on camera in the previous series – mainly that she is a "lost cause". Savagery from both camps in our eyes.
Anyway, as with most of the show's fiery rows, TOWIE producers posted a clip of the Cyprus confrontation to its Instagram grid shortly after the episode dropped. Naturally, the comments have been popping off since, but one comment that received a huge amount of attention came from Chloe M's best friend and now Chloe B's enemy – *refers to notes* – Amber.
Amber took to the comments to comfort her bestie, while throwing outrageous shade at Chloe B (although she doesn't actually name Chloe B, it's pretty obvious who she's referring to). The leader of Girl Band wrote, "My best girl @chloejmeadows ❤️ an angel! I can’t wait for the rest of the series to play out & everyone who actually matters loves you ❤️❤️❤️."
"Everyone who actually matters"? Ouch, Miss Turner. And the Instagram comments in response are naturally, erm, heated.
Play nice, ladies. Remember, there's a fine line between throwing shade and chucking insults.
In response to the online backlash towards the battle of the Chloes, Chloe B took to her Instagram story to say, "In regards to everything being said, the truth always comes to light – everything – and I'm waiting on that day and I'm sure my people that are loyal to me are as well."
Meanwhile, Chloe M, is yet to respond publicly regarding the ongoing feud.
