Whether she's your cup of tea or not, you can't deny that The Real Housewives of Cheshire's Paige Chohan has brought the entertainment, the drama, and the talking heads to our screens from the moment she started filming scenes last year.
Series 17 (the most recent season) marked Paige's first series as an official Housewife and introduced fans to a different side of the Housewife as she prepared for the birth of her first child, Nora. However, the drama returned with a bedazzled bang following Nora's birth, with Paige coming to blows with OG Housewife and Celebrity Big Brother star, Lauren Simon. In true Housewives fashion, the beef was not squashed in the finale (in fact, it was left sizzling on the grill), but will no doubt be addressed head on during next Monday's reunion.
While we have no idea how the reunion – which was filmed last month – will go down at this stage, Paige has clearly moved on from the drama of series 17 and is already thinking about series 18, teasing two potential guest stars that she's excited to film with.
As Paige's pal (we think), Seema Malhotra, teased earlier this month, series 18 will mark the ten-year anniversary of the iconic ITVBe series, which began making waves in the world of reality TV in 2015. If we know one thing about these fabulous ladies and the producers behind the show, it's that they go BIG. More is more for this lot, and as such we're predicting bigger drama, bigger parties, bigger trips and bigger special guests next year – we're manifesting a Dawn Ward return, but we're not sure our manifestation powers can stretch that far, if we're being honest. Have a word, will you, Rachel and Nicole?
And it seems we've already been given the identities of the first two special guests to grace our screens next year, thanks to Paige – and it's her parents. Well, maybe.
Taking to her Instagram story this week to answer some fan questions, Paige was asked, "Are you close with your family? We don't see your parents on the show but Amir's (Paige's husband) was."
Sharing a snap of her and her parents holding baby Nora (at what we think was Lystra's boujie party for baby Nora), Paige responded, "Sadly, they don't live in Cheshire, but visit all the time, and we're a bit camera shy this season."
She continued, "Maybe next season they'll make an appearance 😉."
The reunion is set to air next Monday (17 June), and while we've got you, can we just echo the show's recent sentiments? These are real people with feelings, working on a reality show that needs to showcase drama for our entertainment. Please remember that if you feel the need to share your views on social media. Shade and opinions are fine, queens; hate never is.
