The Real Housewives of Cheshire has been on our screens since 2015 and is easily one of the most glamorous reality shows on the box.
We’ve got to know a total of 21 full-time Housewives over the years, but Lauren Simon and Seema Malhotra are the only OGs who were cast from the very series (although technically Seema was a 'guest' for the first two series and Lauren didn't appear in series nine and ten) who are still flaunting their lavish lifestyles on our screens.
Seriously, though – that revolving door at the front of RHOCheshire HQ seems to be constantly spinning.
Things have been seriously switched up since Tanya Bardsley (who did quit, but seems to now be coming back for girls' trips - which is absolute icon behaviour), Leanne Brown, Magali Gorré, Ampika Pickston, Lauren, Dawn Ward and guest Housewives Stacey Forsey and Seema first debuted their glamorous lives to us mere peasants in 2015.
Whether they walked or were pushed, here's what happened next for these former RHOCheshire stars.
Magali Gorré
Magali starred in Real Housewives of Cheshire in 2015. Although the Housewife only appeared in series one and two, she definitely left a lasting impression on her co-stars following their shouting matches and rifts. She even found herself wrapped up in a Twitter spat with RHOCheshire star Ester Dee in spring 2018 when Ester claimed she didn't know who Magali was...
All these years later, Magali is still living the highlife (spoiler alert: most of them are). The football mum prides herself on her luxurious lifestyle, which she regularly shares with her 111k+ Instagram followers.
Ahead of series 14 in 2021, Magali told Manchester Evening News that the show was more set up than viewers are lead to believe. "They ask 'how was your day?' and 'what's happening in your life?' and you tell them what's going on," she said. "If you don't have anything going on in your life you have to set up situations. But I always had a storyline and something going on. It's not really reality. I was always myself but it looked like I was psychic because I knew what would happen."
But was she axed? According to Magali, no, she wasn't. She told the publication, "After having a while to think about series three, I made a decision, albeit very bittersweet, to take a break from the new series. Away from the show, last year was a very tough year for my family and I, dealing with various family illnesses and the sad passing of my father."
Last year, Magali made an explosive return to the Real Housewives franchise when she joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Amsterdam.
Missé Beqiri
Missé Beqiri joined the RHOCheshire cast in April 2016 for series three, but by series five in March 2017, she had been demoted to 'Guest Housewife' status. She previously admitted that she was "devastated" about her time on the show coming to an end – which sure sounds like 'axed' to us.
In 2014, Missé married Danish footballer and former Manchester United star Anders Lindegaard and welcomed son Julian. They divorced in 2016 after two years of marriage and released a statement citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their separation.
After admitting that she was “ready to move on” from her heartbreaking divorce, Missé began dating former TOWIE star and Chloe Lewis’ ex Jake Hall in 2016. The pair welcomed daughter River the following year.
Missé and Jake are no longer an item after they unfollowed each other on social media and reportedly split after a series of rows. Jake still evidently plays a huge part in River's life as his little girl regularly featuring across his Instagram.
Ampika Pickston
Ampika was an original Housewife, joining the RHOCheshire family in series one and lasting until 2017 when she left after series five.
After a long on/off relationship with partner Mark, Ampika revealed in July 2018 that she was engaged after a new whirlwind romance.
In 2021, it emerged that Ampika is engaged to billionaire West Ham United owner, David Sullivan, 73, a Welsh business mogul and former pornographer, who once owned half the UK’s adult entertainment industry. It’s said he proposed on her 40th birthday, with an 11½ carat, emerald-cut engagement ring, and a source close to the pair revealed Ampika “said 'yes' straightaway”.
Leanne Brown
Fans were shocked when OG cast member Leanne didn't return for series six in spring 2018. After an upsetting feud and long court battle with ex-bestie Dawn Ward, Leanne decided to call it quits on the ITVBe show.
Earlier this year, Leanne split from her former England and Manchester United footballer husband Wes Brown after 12 years of marriage.
She now hosts a podcast called Love Peace Truth Karma.
Stacey Forsey
Stacey became a 'Guest Housewife' in series one (no - we don't remember either) before joining the cast full time for series three. She was demoted to 'friend' status by series seven. She then cut ties with the show to focus on her lifestyle brand.
Nowadays the artist-turned-writer promotes her lifestyle brand and book, Scrumplicious Sweet Treats: Gluten, Dairy and Egg Free, through Instagram. According to her social media, she's still great pals with Seema, who still stars on the show. She's proud mum to a teenage boy and girl and over lockdown launched her own YouTube cooking channel called Baking With Stacey.
Nermina Pieters-Mekic
Nermina lasted just under a year on the hit ITVBe show before producers made her a 'Guest Housewife' and a 'Friend', but to be fair she appeared on the series on and off right up until series 15.
After losing her full-time Housewife status, Nermina started a new chapter in her life, choosing to focus on re-establishing her music and modelling career, while enjoying her suburban life with her husband, daughter (she has a two-year-old daughter called Alaya-Rose who is ADORABLE), dogs and horses (i.e. Cheshire stuff).
Lauren Simon
OG housewife Lauren lasted an incredible eight series on the show and was loved by fans for saying exactly what she thought all of the time.
We were devastated when Lauren quit the show before series nine. Her on/off friend Dawn Ward said, "Lauren has some personal stuff going on. Lauren's an amazing person, I am missing her to bits. I speak to her daily but she has other commitments at the minute that she needs to concentrate on."
In January 2020 it was revealed that Lauren was back in the bosom of the RHOC family, because let's face it, it just didn't feel right without her, did it?
Perla Navia
Perla Navia was introduced as the yoga teacher of Rachel Lugo's ex-husband John Lugo.
She announced she would not be returning for series 11, and wrote on Instagram, "And the time to hang my heels is finally here! Leaving the show was a difficult decision but necessary. I will miss every single person from the unbelievably production crew that make the show happen, they work endless hours to create the magic and peeps I take my hat off to you! Thank you."
Since leaving the show, Perla has stepped up her yoga career and launched her own fitness and wellness studio in her hometown of Wilmslow. In 2021, Perla had a chance reunion with Dawn Ward after the former 'wives bumped into each other during lunch. Despite their rocky relationship on screen, Dawn wrote, "Sat watching the England game and had the biggest surprise when @perla_navia turned up to say hello. I love this beautiful human being so much made my night. Beautiful inside and out!! #friends #specialfriends".
According to her Instagram, Perla has now relocated to Brisbane, Australia.
Leilani Dowding
Page 3 model Leilani Dowding lasted just one season (series ten) on the show but during her brief appearance she managed to rile up plenty of her cast mates, including Dawn Ward and Christine McGuinness (bold choices). Leilani revealed in January 2020 that she would not be returning to the show. In March 2020, she and her rocker boyfriend, The Cult's guitarist Billy Duffy, became engaged.
Ester Dee
Czech-born Ester Dee joined RHOC in 2016 and shocked her cast mates when she opened up about her complicated love life with secret husband Jon Temple and Rob Lloyd.
Ester quit the show in August 2020, admitting she "hadn't been happy" while filming the last two series, and hit out at the "incorrect" editing.
She iconically returned to the show in December 2022 for The Real Housewives of Cheshire: Christmas Cruising alongside Tanya Bardsley.
She recently relocated to North Wales with her family, but we're keeping our fingers crossed for another iconic Ester cameo.
Christine McGuinness
While she was never an official Housewife, Christine McGuinness made a number of appearances on the show between series seven and 11. Christine announced she was departing RHOC at the same time as Ester. She said, "I've got to make time for other things and with any time that I've got I need to spend it with the family and children."
Two years later, Christine and her husband Paddy McGuinness split after 11 years of marriage.
Dawn Ward
OG Housewife Dawn Ward starred in series one to 12 of the hit ITVBe series.
But after series 12 finished airing on screens, Dawn announced the end of an era when she revealed she wouldn't be returning to the show that made her famous. In a heartfelt statement released on Instagram, Dawn said, "Everyone who knows me knows I'm all about my family, so I've decided that after 12 seasons on the show I would like to concentrate on projects with them."
She has since relocated to Dubai with her family and has become a grandmother. She is still an active interior designer.
Tanya Bardsley
Tanya was one of series one's OG Housewives and appeared in every episode right up until her departure in 2021 (after 14 series).
She then teased our TV tastebuds with a return for the show's festive cruising special in 2022 and now she's BACK – okay, as a 'friend' rather than a full time Housewife but, frankly, we'll take any Tanya we can get. Basically, she now goes on all the Housewives' holidays and gets paid for it. Queen.
Tanya has been very open about her mental health battles and fans praised the reality star's honesty and bravery when she revealed her ADHD diagnosis just before turning 40.
The mum of four also went on to film a documentary as part of ITV's Celebrity Health Stories series, titled Tanya Bardsley: Me and ADHD.
Deborah Davies
The popular psychic Housewife announced she was leaving The Real Housewives of Cheshire just two seasons (series 13 and series 14) after joining the series post-lockdown and we never really got an explanation for it - which we were devastated about, to be honest, because GLAM PSYCHIC HOUSEWIFE could not be more Closer.
In an 2022 Instagram Q&A a fan asked Deborah, "Will you be coming back on RHOC? We really liked you on the show. Come back!"
She replied, "The door is still open so maybe I'll get an invite to a party at some point, I loved my time on the show it's just such a shame I wasn't mentally ready after lockdowns and I'd spent a year living in leggings."
Debs is currently working as a full-time psychic (she has worked on Unexplained Caught on Camera), while still being spotted out and about being glam and boujie af.
Katie Alex
Trained nurse and renowned medical professional specialising in vaginal rejuvenation Katie Alex was introduced as the new Housewife for series 15 (she was also the wife of Lauren Simon's first love, Mason) and stepped down to guest status for series 16. The jury's out on whether she walked or was pushed, although Katie has made it crystal clear that she wasn't comfortable with, erm, the behaviour of certain cast members while filming full-time.
