Real Housewives of Cheshire show updates now officially equate to the waiting for a bus cliche, as far as we're concerned. We've been waiting on literally ANY Housewives news for weeks and weeks now and then today (Thursday 14 December) we not only FINALLY get an official return date, but we get a serious life update from a cast member. We're not complaining, but it's been all hands on deck here at Closer HQ this afternoon...
Shortly after ITV confirmed that The Real Housewives of Cheshire would be returning with it's hotly-anticipated Pride special on Monday 8 January (followed by another ep on Tuesday 9 January, according to the show's unofficial PR, Rachel Lugo), series 16 guest Housewife Paige Chohan took to her Instagram grid to confirm that she was was pregnant with her first child.
The controversial guest star, who was introduced to the ITVBe series via her bestie Seema Malhotra, took to her Instagram grid to share her exciting news, posting a cute baby bump photo in addition to a snap of her and her husband Amir Chohan, with the caption, "March 2024 π€ Canβt wait to meet you, we are so happy and blessed for this new journey π₯°."
It didn't take long for some of Paige's co-stars to start flooding her comments with congratulations (well, the ones she's still speaking to, anyway).
Natasha Hamilton β who gave birth to her fifth child earlier this year β commented, "Ah such gorgeous news! Huge congratulations to you both β€οΈ."
Sheena Lynch wrote, "Big congratulations to you both ππ."
And Lystra Adams commented, "Congratulations hun ππΎβ₯οΈβ₯οΈ."
Side note β obsessed that Paige chose to publicly announce her pregnancy an hour after the RHOCheshire's Instagram finally confirmed the series return date. It's giving Housewife scorned and, of course, we're here for it.
Paige guest starred on the last series of the ITVBe series and while she got on with most of the Housewives, she spectacularly clashed with both Rachel and Hanna Kinsella, resulting in an explosive reunion episode (the last time we saw the Housewives on screen).
It's not yet known as to whether Paige has been invited back for series 17, and as far as we can tell, she did not take part in The Real Housewives of Cheshire: Pride filming in August.
