It's been several weeks since The Real Housewives of Cheshire ladies gathered for a somehow equally frosty and fiery series 17 reunion, and as we patiently await news of a 2024 special (in 2023 we had the Pride special and in 2022 we had the oh so camp Christmas Cruising) all us die-hard fans can really do is monitor the cast's socials like hawks.
Not a problem for us as we work at Closer and we're paid to do that, but you get our point – we're in a RHOCheshire content draught right now and we're all parched.
So imagine our excitement when we got wind of a RHOCheshire icon potentially launching their very own podcast. FYI, in our minds we've already envisioned them all tbh; Lolling with Lozza, Nattering with Nicole, Live Your Best Life with Lystra, Here Comes Hurricane Paige, Sitting on the Fence with Seema etc.
Interestingly, the cast member talking about launching their own podcast series is not one of the titular ladies; it's Nicole Sealey's hilarious (and rather hunky, let's be honest) husband Joe Sealey.
These days, former West Ham footballer Joe is known for being an entrepreneur, business owner and being the co-owner of Mr Whippy. He is, of course, also Mr Nicole Sealey and a regular guest star on the ITVBe series, frequently adding some much needed comic relief to the dramatic af reality show.
Joe recently took to his Instagram story to share the news that he has been offered his own podcast series and while he hasn't signed on the dotted line yet (we don't think) – and we have no idea what said podcast series is even about – he's certainly entertaining the idea, going as far to ask his followers whether he should "take the deal."
Sharing a snap of neon podcast graphic, he wrote, "Today I was offered my own podcast series."
He then asked his 50K followers, "Should I take the deal and do a podcast series?"
It's a yes from us, Joe, and it's clearly a yes from your followers as 97 per cent voted YES.
So take the deal and then give each and every one of the Housewives their own episode. Please and thank you.
Joe's wife Nicole recently joined Rachel Lugo, Seema Malhotra, Lauren Simon and former Housewife Hanna Kinsella for a mini off-screen reunion, but where were the other girls? It's safe to say that cast divide is still very much dividing...
