Whenever we get interview time with any famous ladies who reside within a 30-mile radius of Cheshire we enquire as to whether they would ever consider joining the fabulous Real Housewives of Cheshire cast. Atomic Kitten star Natasha Hamilton joined in 2023, Christine McGuinness joined in 2018, Sheena Lynch (the wife of Boyzone legend Shane Lynch) joined in 2021 and Kerry Katona has been rumoured since the show first aired in 2015, so the receipts are there.

And the ladies did tease that we should be prepared for some'new faces' in the milestone ten-year anniversary season.

Fun Closer fact, we recently asked Most Haunted icon and Cheshire local Yvette Fielding if she'd ever consider joining the ladies on-screen one day and she genuinely looked at us like she was about to ask a spirit guide what The Real Housewives of Cheshire was, so it's safe to say it's not to everyone's taste...

Although a Real Housewives of Cheshire x Most Haunted crossover would be beyond iconic.

But it does seem to be to the taste of Big Brother 2024 star Emma Morgan.

And before we get into this, no word of lie, the moment the Closer online team saw Emma's entrance video on Big Brother 2024 launch night we all looked at each other and exclaimed that this woman WILL be on The Real Housewives of Cheshire one day.

The Altrincham local, who won Big Brother 2024 viewers over just a few weeks ago with her jaw-dropping anecdotes, cutting humour and infectious personality (not to mention her being utter glam goals), took to Instagram this week for one of her now iconic Q&As, during which one fan asked, 'Would you join Real Housewives of Cheshire?'

It wasn't us by the way.

Emma replied, 'Oh, course I would. That's right up my boulevard. But, yeah, housewife, husband... you see where I'm going with this... I think I might need a husband.

'Actually, some of those Housewives on there are like going through divorces and that, aren't they? I'm separated from mine so, maybe I could? You know, because I am a wife. I'm still a wife. But, yeah, I'd love that.'

Emma added that she even knows who she'd be friends with on then show, giving her fellow Big Brother queen Lauren Simon a shout-out, saying, 'I'd love to be best friends with Lauren. She's a bit of me.'

Okay, so it's not exactly an official press release from ITV, but if we're ever going to get this Big Brother legend on The Housewives, we've all got to start manifesting for 2025.

Ben Pulsford is a digital writer for Bauer Media, writing for both Closer online and heatworld. When he's not getting paid to gossip about Big Brother, Love Island and The Real Housewives of Cheshire, he's storming the London LGBTQ+ scene as drag queen, Beary Poppins. Both Ben and Beary are awaiting an invite to join The Real Housewives of Cheshire for series 18. The budget's not there, but the drama is 💅.
