Love Island 2023 star throws major shade at Casa girls and it’s a BURN

Justice for Casa bombshells

Love Island casa amor shock

We've said it once and we'll say it again; being a Casa Amor bombshell is TOUGH in Love Island land. Not only do they have to graft significantly harder than their OG counterparts – after all, they're fighting for a place in the main villa – but if they don't speedily stand out from the crowd they're sent packing and the fandom forgets about them within a matter of days. DAYS.

They can't all go on to win the darn thing like Casa Amor legend Sanam Harrinanan (who is now engaged to OG winter Love Island star Kai Fagan), can they?

SO, the last thing the vast majority of Casa Amor bombshells need is kicking while they're down, but that's exactly what one Love Island 2023 did on her socials this week. But plot twist, she is also a Casa bombshell.

Allow us to explain...

Remember Love Island 2023's Tink Reading? She was the Casa queen who formed a connection with Montel McKenzie in his naughty few days away, but lost out during the recoupling when Montel chose to stay loyal to Leah Taylor, sending Tink packing.

In her exit interview, she revealed, "I was still shocked as I didn’t expect it from what I thought was the genuine connection I had with Montel, so I was 90 per cent sure I would stay."

She continued, "I was flabbergasted because of the time I spent with him and the things he had said to me. Montel told me that in the two days that we had together he knew we had a lot more in common than him and Leah.

"We had similar interests with our friends and family life being the same - he gave me no inclination that he would sway back towards Leah. He was very open and instigated a lot, asking me to stay in his bed and pulling me to the terrace."

Scorned. For the record, we have never forgotten about Tink.

Anyway, in the final few days of Love Island 2024, the bombshell seemingly took a swing at all Casa Amor queens – including herself – in a recent Instagram Q&A.

Basically, one of the questions asked Tink whether she would consider going on All Stars when it returns early next year. Tink's blunt and brutal response was, "Don't think Casa girls class as All Stars 🤣."

The shade.

To be fair, we don't know for certain where the Love Island big dogs stand on inviting former Casa stars to join All Stars, although it would appear it's not much of a priority for them as not one Casa star was invited to join the debut series of All Stars earlier this year. Opportunity lost if you ask us.

OMG though, imagine an all-Casa version of All Stars starring the likes of Tink, Summer Botwe, Coco Lodge, Billy Brown, Gabby Jeffrey, Abi Moores, Ouzy See, Ruby Dale. It's Love Island meets Vanderpump Rules.
