Anyone who says they tune in to Love Island for anything other than the #dramz and the fashion is lying. These are facts. Okay, not really, but they are prime reasons for turning in night after night. As such, we just can't fathom why Love Island 2023 producers/editors would ever make the barmy decision to leave dramatic af scenes on the cutting room floor, never to be aired – especially a row between two Islanders of all things.

According to dumped bombshell, Tink Reading, a recent example of such brutal culling took place during Casa Amor. Tink exclusively told Closer online that she had a right old barmy with Sammy Root inside the walls of Casa Amor after he kissed both Gabby Jeffrey and Amber Wise within minutes of each other, and for some barmier reason, Love Island bosses never let us see it.

And yet for some reason they thought we wanted to see yet another 'getting ready for bed' montage and a not-so-subtle advert for that iced coffee they're always peddling.

Gabby and Tink are the latest Islanders to spill their Love Island secrets with us

While filming an episode of our YouTube series Closer Secrets, we asked Tink and Gabby whether there was any unaired drama we should know about.

Tink revealed, "I pulled Sammy because I’d spoke behind his back a little bit about the whole 'two kiss' situation.

"On the outside I would just tell you to your face, so I just pulled him for a chat and as like ‘Personally I don’t think you need to get clarity; to kiss two people but, I don’t think they aired that."

She added, "We had a little bit of a tiff."

We'll never understand you, Love Island producers.

Who is Tink Reading?

Tink Reading was a Casa Amor bombshell during series 10 of Love Island. She formed a connection with Montel McKenzie, but during the recoupling, Montel chose to stay loyal to Leah Taylor, sending Tink packing.

Where is Tink Reading from?

Tink is from Birmingham. She is half English and half Indian.

What does Tink Reading do for a living?

She is a project manager.

How does Tink Reading describe herself?

Prior to entering Casa Amor, Tink told producers, "I’m mischievous, energetic and full of energy. I don’t take myself too seriously, as I just like to have fun. I can look cute and innocent but I do have a fiery side - if I have a problem I have no issue in saying it."

Yep, we witnessed that one round the fire pit...

Is Tink Reading her real name?

No, according to Tink, it is a nickname from when she was younger that just stuck. Her real name is Aliayah, but according to Tink no one calls her that.

Did Tink Reading know she was going to go for Montel McKenzie?

No. Prior to her Casa Amor stint, Tink said, "It’s between two. The first one would be Mitchel, I like how he has his friends' backs in there but he also isn’t afraid to say his opinion to his friends if he doesn't agree with them. I also have that quality, I won't just agree with my friends because they’re my friends. Obviously he is really good looking as well and my type on paper.

"I also like Scott, he seems really genuine. He hasn’t messed about in there - he knows what he likes and he’s stuck with it. He hasn’t done the whole, ‘I’m going to play games’, he just seems genuine in what he says."

What does Tink Reading think of Montel McKenzie now?

In her exit interview, she revealed, "I was still shocked as I didn’t expect it from what I thought was the genuine connection I had with Montel, so I was 90% sure I would stay."

She continued, "I was flabbergasted because of the time I spent with him and the things he had said to me. Montel  told me that in the two days that we had together he knew we had a lot more in common than him and Leah. We had similar interests with our friends and family life being the same - he gave me no inclination that he would sway back towards Leah. He was very open and instigated a lot, asking me to stay in his bed and pulling me to the terrace."

Did Tink Reading get along with Molly Marsh in Casa Amor?

She sure did, in fact, Molly Marsh gave her a friendship anklet. During an Instagram Q&A, Tink revealed, "Me and Mol are like 2 peas in a pod, she honestly is one of the most kind hearted girls I've ever met. She even gave all us Casa girls friendship anklets."

Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
