Love Island 2023's Casa Amor has only just started and we can already feel the #dramz brewing.
You don't have to be a television producer to predict that the two big storylines of this year's Casa Amor – the ultimate Love Island test – are Molly Marsh returning and being reunited with Zachariah Noble (we totally predicted that one, by the way) and Ella Thomas being reunited with a crush from the outside world/her hometown in the form of 6ft4 mega-hunk, Ouzy See. You know, after finally getting playboy Tyrique Hyde to close off their relationship.
Ouzy and Ella have already made it clear that they met on a modelling shoot in Edinburgh, with Ella adding that she was waiting for Ouzy to ask her out for a drink. Now he's in Casa Amor, he's made it crystal clear to Ella and the nation that he's in here for her, leaving us all wondering, will Ella's head – perhaps the most unturnable (is that a word?) of all the heads on this year's series – get turned?
One person who knows the ins and outs and the ups and downs of the Casa Amor experience all too well, Shaughna Phillips (from 'Congrats, hun' fame), sure thinks so.
Although she's now settled down and is enjoying life as a new mummy, the Love Island 2020 icon is still sharing her thoughts on the show that made her on Twitter, and last night, she made it clear that she was on Team Ella and Ouzy and not Team Ella and Tyrique – and we have to say, she makes some good points. She also turns out some legendary catchphrases when she needs too. Unrelated, but iconic.
She tweeted, "This is the happiest Ella has looked the entire series. Her and Ouzy are bloody cute together."
We have to say, we haven't seen Ella smile this much since, well, her promo picture, and clearly Ouzy has picked up on that too, telling Ella in last night's episode, "I feel like you've been upset a lot, probably more than you've been happy, from what I've seen, and I feel like at the start it should be like a honeymoon period."
