Bless, Summer Botwe. In fact, bless 99.9% of hopeful Love Island Casa Amor bombshells that slow-mo walk through those villa doors year after year.

The 2022 Love Island star is living proof that the ITV2 reality series isn't always the fast-track to true love and millions of Instagram followers that it's made out to be. They can't all go on to achieve what we can only describe as utter world domination as exhibited by the likes of Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Gemma Owen. In fact, more often than not, Islanders leave the villa single and grasping onto those five minutes of fame for dear life, with not even a Hello Fresh or PLT ambassador deal in sight come winter.

To be fair to Summer, though, she did smash the influencer game for a few weeks after leaving the villa; popping up at almost every red carpet event on Closer's radar, but predictably disappeared from the public eye as autumn approached – until last week, that is.

Summer was recently invited to Pretty Little Thing's Christmas party in Dublin, alongside Love Island 2022 stars and PLT ambassadors Chyna Mills, Deji Adeniyi, Danica Taylor, Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope. If your eyes widened at reading that last name, they were right to do so.

Fans will remember that Summer and Dami hit it off in Casa Amor this summer – while he was still with Indiyah, in true Casa Amor fashion – so much so that he brought her into the main villa, resulting in a love triangle hotter than this summer's heatwave. In the end, Dami decided to stick with Indiyah (and those cuties are still together today), leaving Summer single and feeling pretty used; the end result being she was dumped from island.

In various interviews, all three Islanders have made it clear that while Indiyah and Summer have remained good friends since Love Island, Summer and Dami want nothing to with each other (Dami even exclusively told us, "There's no beef with Summer. Obviously, I don't think we're going to be meeting up anytime to do anything, but...") so imagine our excitement when we learned they would be travelling to PLT's Christmas party together. The AWKS.

While neither party has spoken outright about seeing one another again, we have a feeling the reunion has given Summer some food for thought.

She has recently taken to Twitter to share her views on how she expects to be treated in a relationship and what she's looking for from that special someone.

The tweet that caught our eye was a retweet that read, "Too pretty to be treated like shit." To be fair, she really is.

In a separate tweet Summer wrote, "I can't wait for my forever person."

In another tweet she simply wrote, "💔💔💔💔💔." It's very possible that one was about the football as it was tweeted on 10 December, but as we're not supporting the football or even acknowledging it, we're taking this as another emosh tweet from the Love Island star.

Now, will someone decent please trot on over and snap up this absolute queen up ASAP? We don't like our Islanders this brooding.

In all seriousness, we have a lot of time for Summer. She brought beauty, sass and authenticity into the villa this year. So let's all spare a minute to get reintroduced to this bombshell of bombshells.

How old is Summer Botwe?

Summer is 22 years old.

What does Summer Botwe do for a living?

She is the co-owner of an events decor business, a reality star and an influencer.

Who did Summer Botwe have her eye on before going into the villa?

Going into the villa she had her eyes on the prize – Dami. Awks.

She said, “Dami is someone that I definitely feel like I have my eye on and definitely want to pursue the most out of all the boys. His dress sense is really good, he’s funny, he’s just like an all- rounder completely. Everyone loves him and he’s like their go-to and I love that about a person. His vibes are immaculate and I’m drawn to that. Jay is quite good looking, too. I will talk to other people, too.”

It's safe to say that didn't work out as planned.

When did Summer Botwe enter the Love Island villa?

Summer entered the Love Island 2022 villas a Casa Amor bombshell on day 27.

When did Summer Botwe get dumped from Love Island?

She was dumped from the villa on day 44. Summer was in the bottom two after receiving the fewest public votes. The boys then chose to dump her.

What happened with Summer Botwe and Coco Lodge in the villa?

It's more what happened outside of the villa... In August 2022, there was major beef sizzling between Love Island 2022 bombshells Coco Lodge and Summer Botwe and that they both gave each other a MAJOR grilling on ITV2's Love Island reunion show. Summer and Coco became close pals in the Love Island 2022 villa and were even pictured together at a final viewing party, however fans were left convinced they were feuding over comments Coco made about Josh Samuel Le Grove, who Summer had a thing for in the villa.

That's all water under the bridge now; in that the girls don't follow each other on socials or talk/acknowledge each other whatsoever. As far as we can tell, they do their best to avoid each other at events, despite having mutual friends like Chyna.
