When it was announced last year that Love Island producers were putting together the first ever All Stars series, we couldn’t wait to see which iconic Islanders were going to head back into the villa for the second time.

Loads of our faves like Liberty Poole, Hannah Elizabeth, Callum Jones and, of course, winners Molly Smith and Tom Clare returned – and it was an iconic series, so we were thrilled when it was announced that All Stars would be returning for a second season.

We’ve been drafting a wish list of Islanders we want to see take part – which show bosses can expect in their email inbox in the next three to five working days – and top of that list is Love Island 2019 icon Ovie Soko.

Fans have been desperate for Ovie to appear on All Stars since, well, forever, so when we caught up with him on the red carpet at the National Television Awards, we had to ask him if he’s been in talks for the second series.

We want to break it to you as gently as possible, but it’s not good news, as Ovie doesn’t seem keen.

Speaking about whether he’d return to the villa, Ovie exclusively told Closer Online, ‘I’m old, man. I’m old for that.

‘Not [too old] for love, but to go back on Love Island though.’

When asked if there’s anything that could get him back on the show, Ovie continued, ‘Nah, man. I feel like it’s the next people, it’s their opportunity, it’s their chance, it’s their time. I’ve had my time.’

Not the words we wanted to hear, but Ovie will be back on our screens very soon as he’s taking part in the next series of Channel 4’s Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins alongside former TOWIE stars Georgia Harrison, Bobby Norris and Pete Wicks.

‘Oh it blew me away. You kind of see what to expect on TV, but you don't really know until you get there. You don't know how bad it is, the bad things that you have to do, you just don't know the reality of it,’ Ovie said about taking part in the brutal reality show, which was filmed in New Zealand.

‘But it was incredible. Absolutely incredible. I had one of the best experiences I think I've had in my life.’
