The bombshells of that series were really giving, one of which was Ella Barnes. Ella arrived in the villa after Casa Amor and quite quickly mentioned that she knew Tyrique before the show.
She then took a liking to Mitch and his head instantly turned. They recoupled and had some drama with Abi Moores and Scott van der Sluis but it all worked out in the end - kind of. There was a lot of back and forth, especially at movie night, but after some incredible one liners from Scott, the beef was semi-squashed by the finale.

So, entering the villa and immediately spilling the tea, Ella mentioned that she knew Ty in the real world.
Turns out they'd met on a night out weeks before the show began and shared a snog but nothing came of it. Plus, Ella Thomas was quick to 'shut it DOWN.'
What happened with Ella Barnes and Mitch Taylor?
Despite coupling up near the end of the show, Ella and Mitch managed to make it pretty far - thanks to Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki saving them.
Unfortunately they didn't make it to the final but continued to date for a few weeks after the show. Then in August, they confirmed their split with Ella writing on her Instagram Story, "Unfortunately myself and Mitch have decided to end our relationship.
"I really wanted things to work out and I’m gutted that our journey has come to an end. I wish Mitch all the best and hope he finds his happiness. It’s time for both of us to start a new chapter.”
Why was Ella Barnes told off in the villa?
During an exclusive chat with Ella, she opened up and revealed that she - along with the other girls - would constantly get told off by producers because of their bathroom antics.

It has been reported that we have yet another Love Island/ TOWIE crossover in the works.
Ella will apparently be joining the ranks of other former Love Island stars such as Jack Fincham and Olivia Attwood and will be swapping the glamour of the villa for the glamour of Essex. She will reportedly be joining the cast as a love interest to Roman Hackett.
