Majorly upping our Zoom game

Dress in gown

After months and months of being stuck indoors, it's an indisputable fact that pretty much everybody now loves loungewear. It's soft, it comes in soft pastel colours and, most importantly, it's chic without all of the constraints and too-tight feelings of office wear. Ugh, even the thought of stepping into a pair of high heels right now gives us shivers.

Yep, we looove loungewear. At one point there was even a loungewear shortage, if we remember correctly? It's been our comfort through a year of unknowns and hardship but, every once in a while, it would be nice to up our fashion game, right?

Now, before you start to panic, we're not talking bodycon dresses and stiletto heels. No, no, no. But, what if we told you you could keep you loungewear and at the same time look red carpet ready?

So we've got your attention, now let us introduce you to the one, the only...the Dress-IN-Gown.

A gift from House of Fraser to the fashion-deprived public of 2020, the Dress-IN-Gown is a dressing gown (nice play on words there HoF) designed to look like a couture celeb-worthy night out look.

No, seriously, Rita Ora wore one just like it to the actual MTV EMAs in 2017. We presume Rita's dressing gown (with that gorg thigh slit) was a designer number worth £££, but you can get yours on your local high-street for less than £100.

Actually, you can get it for way less than £100, because the Dress-IN-Gown retails at £60. Some of M&S' dressing gowns cost more than that and, with this one, you can saunter round your house with bell sleeves as flamboyant as Vivienne Westwood all the while being wrapped up in an organic bamboo cuddle.

Mmm, pop us by a warm fire and we'll be all set for our most glam and yet comfortable Zoom party yet.

The Dress-IN-Gown is available in sizes 2-18 and is part of the department store's In-In collection. Get your calendars ready, ladies and gents, because the Dress-IN-Gown goes live on the House of Fraser website on 11 December (the In-In Collection is live now). We reckon these won't last long so make sure you're online.

Have we convinced you?
