Geordie Shore turned TOWIE star Sophie Kasaei has been a fave here at Closer online for a while now because, frankly we've grown up with her – yes, we too enjoyed a drunken curb side kebab in 2011. We also love her because she's a genuinely gorj person, we're obsessed with her style and she always (ALWAYS) tells it like it is – and in an entertainment world where people have more PRs than close friends, trust us, that's a virtue.
So, naturally when we learned that the Geordie Shore OG was going on TOWIE earlier this year – after dating boyfriend and TOWIE star Jordan Brook for several months – we were elated. Fast forward to the here and now and you can probably imagine our excitement at learning that our gorgeous girl is doing a Chloe Brockett and launching her own podcast.
Sadly that's pretty much all we have on Sophie's new venture at this point – actually that's such lie, both her bf Jordan and MAFS UK bride Ella Morgan commented on Sophie's announcement post on Instagram, suggesting that they would both be coming on as guests at some point.
Sophie announced her exciting news via a STUNNING Instagram grid post featuring two snaps of the reality star (one with a podcast microphone). She captioned the post, "Coming up next 😜 Not long now….. 🎙️."
Unfortunately, "not long now" is all we have to on if you wondering when this podcast is set to launch, but Sophie, if you're reading this, here are the guests we urge you to have on in 2024 (in no particular order): Amber Turner, Charlotte Crosby, Big Brother's Jordan and Henry, Kerry Katona, Katie Price, Junaid Ahmed, Coleen Rooney, Becky Vardy... yeah, basically just anyone we regularly write about.
Opening up about adjusting to life in Essex earlier this year, Sophie told Closer online, “Essex is really different, the only thing I struggle with is having as many friends. I’m a social butterfly, I know so many people in Newcastle. I can message my friends at any point, and we’ll go head out – whereas in Essex, I’m a little bit introverted and that’s something I’m not used to.
“Jordan’s introduced me to his friends' girlfriends, who are wonderful and that’s helped. I really struggle making new friends because I have to tell them all about Geordie Shore or I might be out for brunch and people can ask for photos, and for new people I’m hanging out with it can be quite different being in the limelight.”
