It’s been four weeks since TOWIE returned to our screens and we don’t think any of those weeks have passed without Junaid Ahmed being involved in some serious on-screen agg.
We already knew that he and Dani Imbert had fallen out with their former bestie Ella Rae Wise before the series began, but viewers also saw him clash with pal (and former love interest) Harry Derbidge in a recent episode.
However, it seems that Junaid has at least one ally in Essex in the form of legendary TOWIE OG Lauren Goodger – and they might even be moving in together. Well, if Junaid has anything to do with it anyway.
Junaid and Lauren have been hanging out loads lately and he’s been documenting all their adventures on his Instagram.
Alongside snaps of them going for cocktails and celebrating birthdays, one of Junaid’s latest posts shows him lounging around at Lauren’s house.
He captioned it, “I might as well move in at Lauren’s at this rate…
“It’s just so cosy, I love it.”
Well, we’re certainly here for it – especially if it means Lauren will re-join the TOWIE cast. It’s been a whopping seven years since she was last on the ITVBe show and we seriously miss her.
Chloe Brockett also admitted she’d love Lauren back on the show in 2021 when she told Closer, “If I could film with one iconic TOWIE cast member, it would definitely be Lauren Goodger.
“I think she was the OG of drama, she was so good at her one liners and, oh my God, the best bit was when she pushed Mark into the pool, I still laugh about that now.
“She was like ‘Shut your face! Shut up!’ Loved that.”
Lauren originally appeared on the first six seasons of TOWIE, a lot of which was dominated by her turbulent relationship with Mark Wright.
She also found herself embroiled in feuds with Lucy Mecklenburgh and Sam Faiers over their involvement with Mark and, after her ex-fiancé left the show in 2012, Lauren romanced the Tom Pearce.
